You should accept the consequences for having unprotected Sex. Have the baby and put it up for adoption. An innocent child shouldn’t have to die because of your stupidity. Unless your boyfriend was also a virgin at the time ,pregnancy would actual be a blessing you could end up with aids, herpes or some other STD that would be with you forever.

Please if you continue having sex use a condom and birth control pill. Just remember the only 100% birth control is not having sex. Also if your boyfriend has slept with other girls get an STD test pronto

Your stupid. yes sounds mean i know but if you can open up at least have protection and USE it. It's called a health dep. and they give them out free. Your only 16 like you said. I feel bad for you if you get pregnant cuz there are women out there who are married who want children but cain't have them. I pray your not just for the babys sake. Do you have a job does he have a job? Does he know this? He must not of respected you enough to take time and use protection. He didn't care what makes you think he will want to take care of a baby. If your not count your blessing and get on birthcontrol and condoms or don't have sex if you cain't be smart about it. And if he has had partners get checked for STDs while you at it.

Don't listen to that first answer. You do not have to kiss your future goodbye. If you want, you can get the Plan B/Emergency Contraceptive. It is a backup method if you did not use protection during sex. You need to take this as soon as possible, however, to increase your chances of not getting pregnant. The sooner you take it, the better your chances are. You need to take it within 72 hours of having sex. Is there a Planned Parenthood near you? You can get the Plan B pill(s) from that clinic, and it may only cost a few dollars.

Here's a website to learn more about Plan B: http://www.go2planb.com/ForConsumers/AboutPlanB/WhatIsPlanB.aspx

And here's the Planned Parenthood website so you can find out if there is a clinic near you: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/findCenterProcess.asp (Since you didn't use protection, you should talk to them about STDs, too. They can also give you free condoms and advice. And it's completely confidential.)

Good luck. And hopefully, you learned that protection is really important.

One day at a time... don't panic yet.

If/when you find out that you're pregnant then start to consider your options, but now, you'll just have to wait it out.

However, now that you're going to make adult decisions, you need to act like one. You will need to see a doctor and have all the appropriate tests run.

Consider talking to someone you trust, family member or older friend. Your 16 year old friends will just stress you out and telling your mom might not be your favorite thing to do. Maybe a brother or sister, aunt or uncle.

Good luck, don't stress and use protection next time ;)

First Off, you shouldn't have had sex at 16. Second off, if you really had to, then you should have used some type of contraceptive.

So, if it was less than 1 day ago, then go, as soon as you can, to your doctor and ask for the morning after pill.

If it was more than 1 day ago, then say goodbye to owning that nice little house in San Francisco.

Tell an adult you trust. She/he can take you to your doctor or the emergency room to get the morning after pill. It is good up to 72 hours for unprotected sex.

Please do not wait otherwise there is a possibilities that you might get pregnant. It will be too complicated. Although, it is hard to tell someone about you had sex. But you want to be save than sorry

Depending on how long ago you had intercourse you can go to pharmacies and ask for a Plan B. If not go to a Planned Parenthood clinic and ask for it. Even your regular Dr. can prescribe it to you.
You have so much ahead of you right now that having a baby will not let you do all the things you want to. I had my first baby when i was 18 n i wish i would of waited.

Well, get ready for your sex drive to go threw the roof!!!!!! You will soon find it very hard to say no to sex. Have you ever heard the saying once you do it, You are going to turn in to a jack rabbit. Hope your not having a baby! But wake up and use a rain coat. Next time! Your sex life is just starting go get a test to ease your mind. Good luck and have fun........

Sadly, I would say to suck it up, have the baby and go on. If you're old enough to have sex, then you should be old enough to accept the responsibility of your actions. You should also understand how not to get pregnant at this point. There really is no excuse, in my opinion, for somebody to get pregnant w/o wanting to be when birth control methods are so readily available.
