I have a step daughter who is fiercely loyal to her mother. No matter what I do with her, she’s always all over her mother like I’m nothing. When my kids come over, I like to spend time with them and my wife thinks that because I’m really happy to see them, I don’t like being around her and her daughter or my kids are more important. That’s not the case. I just only see my kids 2 days a week. She’s like really jealous and doesn’t remember the stuff I do with her daughter (like get to drive her to school everyday that I don’t get with my kids). Now she wants a kid of our own because I feel she’s very jealous of my kids. Plus I have to pay out a lot of money in child support and she feels her daughter gets the shaft (however she chose not to get any from her daughter’s father and she knew going in I was on the hook financially for my two kids). Seems like a typical blended family issue. Anybody else go through this? How’d you get over these issues?

She then listened with a doppler and detected 2 heartbeats. She then checked 3 -4 times (still 2!!) I'm not as sick, or tired or headachy as I was with my other pregnancies. I haven't even put on much weight! Can it be twins? None on my side of the family but my Mother in law lost twins - so their on my husbands side. Any advice from twin Mums?

Why does it have to be that you either spank your child or you don't? Or that your child is either well behaved or not? Isn't there a way to find a happy medium? Can't there be more than one way of punishment? Can't the child have good and bad days?

I've been reading a lot of questions and answers lately and I've noticed that people either believe you must be very tough with your children or you should allow them to get away with everything. Most common excuse is "Boys will be boys" Why is it ok if they are boys when they get into trouble?

I went to the doctor monday and she told me i was 4 to 5 weeks
but first they told me i was 6 weeks. im a little cunfuesed about how far iam into my pregnancy according to my last period i should be 7 weeks not 4 or 5 what should i do???

My almost 2 year old son has a diaper rash on his bottom. It has been there for 2 weeks now, he has been to the doctor twice & yesterday was given a higher dosage of steroid cream as well as antifungal cream. I am trying to put a end to this rash he seems very uncomfrtable & so far this is what I am doing in addition to the creams... oatmeal baths (2x per day), underware during the day, 4 diaper changes at night. His doctor says if it is not gone in another week she will try something stronger, but I would LOVE some advice to help my little guy beat this rash long before that, Thanks for any help!

When I was a small child I would wake up every day for years with my eyes crusted over completely to where I could not open them at all! My mom used medicine some kind of cream for this... Now my little girl is starting this but only in one eye so far. she is only 7 months old... I now live in Sweden and the medical name I can not find in swedish to make it worse my mom pasted some years ago and I have no one to ask what that was and what medicine to use. I would like to do some research on this on the net but I need a name... if you can help it would be much appreciate!!!
ALOT of people are writting and saying this is PINK EYE BUT that does NOT last for years and my eyes were NEVER RED NOR IS MY DAUGHTERS!!!!

Im pregnant with our third child, and i wanted to know if breastfeeding helps you lose weight like they say it does? And i tried it with my first son and i didnt produce enough milk so i had to formula feed, if this happens again with this baby, can they give you anything to help produce more milk? I do not keep track of my periods but once I found out I was pregnant I had to guess a day my last period was and my due date was March 13th based on that. My ultrasound guessed March 1st. When do you think I will have my baby. Closest day to actual wins best answer

We have our 3 yr.old daughter during the week,and her other mom has her on the week ends.During the week we make great progress with her, even to the point she was peeing and pooing on the potty by herself. She goes with the other mom and our daughter will not even step into the bathroom when she comes home! Every week we have to start over and seem to be getting nowhere.Our daughter is 3 years old, and she understands the whole bathroom consept we have tried every thing from treats and surprises even taking away toys.We know you are not supose to punish them but that seems like the only thing we have left.The other mother lies of corse when we ask her and says that "she is potty trained when shes with me",but she always has diaper rash when she comes home,so I know she is not even tring to help potty train her.We have been going through this for over a year now.Please help with any tips!!!!!

my son has been throwing up since i changed his formal. but i had to change cuz of wic. and wic only does one tip of formal brand.when he was on the other formal he didn't throw it up. i took him to the dr yesterday and he told me to take him off his formal for 24 hours and give him pedilight. and he has been throwing up. but once i gave him that formal he started back up. what should i do.

I have two questions....My husband and I just started trying to conceive a baby this month, my last period was on Jan. 8th (my periods last 7 days and there is usually at least 30, if not 32 days in between each period). {A} I've heard that ovulation occurs about 14 days after the first day of your last period, right? Well, after the egg releases from the ovary, it takes a few days to make its way down the fallopian tube (which, for example, is only lets say 18 days from the first day of my last period) so after it makes its way through the fallopian tube does it just hang out in your uterus until the rest of the (32) days pass when your supposed to get your period? or do i have that all wrong? (im confusing myself haha) and also,{B} from the day the egg is released from the ovary and the egg is in the fallopian tube, are you most fertile to get pregnant any time from then until the day you get your period? If someone could clear this up for me id appreciate it. Thank you!

My 4 year old daughter has been running a fever for 5 days. It goes up and down... mostly controlled with motrin & tylenol. At times she seems like she is getting better, then all of the sudden... BAM... we are back to square one. She vomitted on days 1, 2 & 4. She is complaning of stomach pain, sore throat and has been very lethargic and has not really eaten anything in days. (I am keeping her hydrated.) She has also had loose bowel movements. We saw the Dr. last night who told me to wait it out for another day or two then take her for blood work. I am really worried. We have a family history of non-hodgkins lymphoma. Any ideas what could be making my baby girl so sick? If the fever gets worse should I just take her to the ER? Thank you for any help or suggestions. Please only serious replies. Thanks again!
