Can you get pregnant the week you are fixing to start your period? Because I didn't start the week i was suppose to and i had an intercourse, could i be pregnant?

The average woman has a 28 cycle and ovulates on day 14. She would potentially be fertile until the night of day 17. Starting then, it would be impossible for her to become pregnant--she has a 0% chance of conceiving from day 17 to 28. If She planned on having sex during the week before her period (days 21-28), she will not be able to get pregnant. If she misjudged her timing or her ovulation was 5 days late, she would still be infertile during the days 22-33. So, basically, it depends on your cycle.
This is a great example of how charting can help women know their bodies and their cycles--so you wouldn't have to worry.

P.S. The other person is misinformed. It is impossible to "get pregnant the day her period was due." She clearly ovulated late, and her period was due 11-16 days later, like every other healthy human female on Earth.

Yep! Only about 10-15% of women ovulate during the time frame they are "supposed" to. Many ovulate early, later, or during their periods. I was one of those!!! I got pregnant the day my period was due! So, yep you culd be pregnant! Good Luck though!

Anytime you have unprotected sex you could get pregnant.
Take a test and see what it says or go to your doctor!

nobody can tell you if you are or aren't. My suggestion is you take a pregancy test as soon as you are late for your period.
