I now live in Sweden and the medical name I can not find in swedish to make it worse my mom pasted some years ago and I have no one to ask what that was and what medicine to use. I would like to do some research on this on the net but I need a name... if you can help it would be much appreciate!!!

I believe it's called "blepharitis" My dad has that and I have a mild case. He said that's what it's called.

Shaggy, go to WebMD and on the left it says to check your symptoms. I typed in Crusty eyes. I think I had to go down and select eye drainage at some point and there it was. It wouldn't let me copy and paste sorry. Unless my mouse just suddenly broke. It does say that it is a form of pink eye.

I get it in the mornings, and I have always thought that it was just allergies...seems to be worse when its allergy season. Sounds like you should have a doctor look at it, since as she gets older, she may rub and irritate her eyes to get it out, which could potentially cause scratching...Good luck with your research!
