There's a kid in my school that's my friend and all. I've got a big crush on him. Lately he's been strange around me. He's not a very social person with girls, but he talks a lot with my friends and with me...he can't even look at me at my face.i haven't talked with him for like 2 days and that's a bizarre thing. Before i talked to him 10 or more times a day.before he started ignoring me *or whatever you would like to call it* he did strange things to me, but they weren't bad things. He usually scared me.he sometimes came to my desk and started to look around my backback and all my stuff.he even tells me bad words and i hit him of course...haha. I'm confused. I wonder if he liked me or not. Can you help me? I'm really desperate

im on my second child and have been having complications im married to a military member and we found out we are most likely going to be sent to another base thats still isnt in the states. The baby isnt gaining weight and will be in the nicu for quite some time and i will be on bedrest when i arrive there. my husband will pick up working there for the time being and then will come and visit me when possible. Should we take our other son along or send him to our parents whom have offered to watch him the entire time we are there he has kids and stuff to play with also im not sure what to do. He is my sons stepdad and his Biological father lives close to my parents so it could also be time for him to spend with him too since he hasnt seen him in awhile. i guess the reason why its so hard is i havent been away from him for longer than a week and this will be almost 6 months (im guessing) What do you think ?i will be having a c-section and my son really wont be able to the baby til later.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant. My baby's heartbeat the first time we heard it was 171 bpm. Second time after a month it was down to 158 or something. When I went back today (only a week and a half form last time) the doppler read 138 bmp. My doctor said this is normal. But why? Is it because it slows with age and when it is resting?

My 5 year old kindergartener has at least an hour to an hour and half of homework a night. I have to wonder if the time spent on homework would be better spent with family doing recreational activities. She is very bright but I feel that at times she has begun to dislike the time consuming assignments and turn off her interest to them. I have been reading studies that suggest that homework doesn't actually help children and in some cases may turn a child off to learning.

What do you think? Is homework something that needs to be done away with or is it still a valuable tool?

I had a m/c a little over 6 weeks ago. It was my second one, so I knew what to expect and what was going to happen. After my first m/c I got my period within 4-5 weeks. This time its been a little over 6 weeks. I had gone to the hosiptal and everything, and I had a complete m/c. I know none of you guys are doctors or anything but does anyone have a idea on why its taking so long?? I plan on seeing my doctor next week, but I wanted to know what you guys thought.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and my mother in law has just found out she has cancer in her throat and has to have radiotherapy. I am due for my 20 week scan in 3 weeks and was wondering if anyone knows if it will be dangerous for her to come with me, as i thought it might cheer her up a bit, or if i am even allowed to be in contact with her while she is going for the radiotherapy, while i am pregnant as i don't know if it will be any danger to my baby?

My tummy feels real tight at times, and then it goes back to normal.

I'm pissed at my husband, and ready to kill him to be quite honest. Does being upset and angry have any bearing over what can cause BH contractions?

I'm still pissed, even though I've tried to stop (it's a legit reason. Promise)... How can I get these to stop???

I know how much child support I am getting every month, but the courts have not sent any thing on ways to obtain this support. The papers say Not to call F.O.C but it has been over 10 weeks. Will I get something in the mail? I know that they do not do paper checks anymore. How long does this take?

I have a daughter who is 4 years old. Both her older brother who is 5 and her younger brother who is 13 months both eat their vegetables and everything else that is good for them. The only thing my daughter will eat is fried chicken and mashed potatoes or anything else having to do with potatoes. I want her to eat healthy and offer veges to her she won't eat them. She's extremely thin but I'm afraid she isn't all that healthy considering what she limits herself too. Any suggestions on getting her to eat better?

We just found out that we're expecting baby #2 in August, and although we're excited (our son is 16 months right now), the morning sickness is taking over my life!

When I get up I feel fine, and I usually feel fine until I finish breakfast. Then from that point to the time I go to bed, I am in a state of constant nausea. I can't even eat! Close to 7:00 I'll start dry heaving like crazy until about 8:30.

ANY suggestions would be great, except I'm anti-pop.

My baby's father cut all contact with me when I was five months pregnant with our daughter. He had a girl call my cell phone and threaten me and my baby. He is in the Army so I immediately reported him to his sergeants.
In two weeks my beautiful little girl will be here but I don't know if I should try to contact him and tell him, or if I should just give birth and then deal with him when I go after him for child support. What should I do? Serious answers please! Thank you.

I was interested in finding out how many people would or would not buy christian related clothing items for their baby or toddler. If you would buy it, what type of wording is of interests. For example, the Lord is my shepherd or Walk by faith?

Thanks for your comments.

I was wondering how many moms breastfed the first baby, but not second. I am considering going straight to formula or only breastfeeding the first month, when with my first I breastfed her until she was 8 months. Did this make you feel guilty??

I just found out that my wife smoked pretty much everyday while she was pregnant with our son. She did this while at work and somehow I missed the smell everyday. Is there anything that I need to do for my son to make sure he will be ok from here on out? Thank you!
