I posted last night on strep rash, if should try an ointment besides the antibiotics (tested + yesterday). Waiting on a call back now from my doctors office, did you use one?

My daughter is potty training right now and is in pull ups. She knows how to take clothes off and enjoys doing so. It's not a big deal during the day; but, she does it at night and pees in her bed. So, every morning I have to strip her bed and wash the linens. That is really hard on me because I just had a baby two weeks ago. I have to wash everything, from sheets to comforter to pillows. How do I make her stop doing it at night?

Since she was born she has always slept well through the night. She wouldn't wake up even to eat. Recently, I would have to say within the past 2 months, she wakes up everynight to drink milk. I've tried just giving her a sip of water instead of milk but she doesn't want it. She has to have her milk. Recently though I've had a hard time putting her to sleep. She's never been the kind to be rocked to sleep, always put her in her crib and let her fall asleep by herself. But lately nothing can get her to sleep. I put her down and 10:30 and she doesn't fall asleep until about 2am in which she is crying the entire time until I do something. Crying it out doesn't work. It's not that she's spoiled and wants to get out and play it's just that she CAN'T sleep. Is this normal for a 2 year old to have sleeping problems. It's almost as if she is uncomfortable or can't get comfortable and once she's asleep it wakes her up in the middle of the night. I'm also 5 months preg. Could this be the reason

I'm taking orthotricyclen & have been for about 9 months.. It's worked well for me (obviously, because i'm not pregnant). I was just wondering if it is considered a low dose birth control or what.. I started out trying some low dose BC, but i continued to bleed none stop while on it.. That's when my dr. switched me to Orthotricyclen.. I'm still having pretty bad cramps & atleast 6 day periods, which i thought was supposed to stop once it go in your system... Is that true? Does it sound like i should i need a higher dose BC? (I know i should ask my dr. this, but dont have the time to get an appointment anytime soon)Thanks for listening to me ramble! =)

I've had patience with her throughout our 15 years of friendship, but the questions just keep on increasing.

I just couldn't take it anymore, so I cut her off after about 3 unneccesary questions (in a nice, joking manner - yet very effective).

However, in the event of our upcoming luxurious vacation and all the excitement that goes along with it, I think I may extend her cross-examiner questioning to 5 questions per topic, instead of the usual 3 ... however, if she really abuses the privilege and over-induldges, she will be set right back for a day or two. Our husbands will be with us, so I figure I can let them humor her!

Should I write a rule book ahead of time, and shout out the Rule # that she is violating like they do in the movie "Wedding Crashers"?

That would be great fun!

I found this one by tommee tippee:
http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/shop/products/toothy-peg-teether-back-teeth.html

But I am looking for this or something similar from a US or Canadian retailer.

Please suggest links or products designed specifically to reach the back teeth for a baby cutting his molars. Even his teething beads are too bulky for him to fit comfortably near his molars.

Thanks!

My husband and I have been thinking about having a third kid, but I have not lost the weight from my last baby. I am considered to be pretty over weight. I am 5'7 and last time I went to the doctors I weighed 220. Is it safe for me to have another child or is it unsafe to have a child when being over weight? for some reason I am having the worst time finding information about this on the internet. Some have told me that I am more at risk for all these health conditions and miscarriages. does anyone have any experiance or information that you can share with me. Thank you!!

What does Love mean?

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have
imagined. See what you think:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands
got arthritis too. That's love."

Rebecca- age 8

_____

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Billy - age 4 (I love this one)

_____

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

Karl - age 5

_____

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Chrissy - age 6

___

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

Terri - age 4 (How true)

_____

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Dan ny - age 7

_____

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Emily - age 8

_____

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

Bob by - age 7 (Wow!)

_____

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,"

Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

_____

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

Noelle - age 7

_____

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

Tommy - age 6

_____

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

Elaine-age 5

_____

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

Chris - age 7

_____

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."

Mary Ann - age 4

_____

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."

Lauren - age 4

_____

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an image)

Karen - age 7

_____

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross."

Mark - age 6

_____

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Jessica - age 8 ( I think we just assume people know we love them )

_____

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was
an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little
boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry"
