you are a lazy mother! my children were potty trained by age 5 months. get off the computer, and get to the toilet! first...NO MORE DIAPERS!!!! THROW THEM AWAY!!! PRONTO!!!!! put him in briefs. he won't like the feel of poo poo and pee pee on his skin....he'll use the toilet...*helpful hint*...get a step stool to help him reach the toilet. every time he goes in the toilet, give him a piece of cheese. this should help.

Six months old is way too early. My boys weren't potty trained until they were three. The child needs to understand what his body is doing before he can train it. Wait for two years then try again.

Buy him some big boy pants. Just regular cotton undies. As he pees and poops in them he'll learn about his body functions. He'll become aware of his plumbing. Take him to a specific area (like bath tub) to clean up. After naps take him to that area - he will pee.
After three weeks my 10 month old was partially potty trained.

Babies that young cannot be potty trained...the parents can learn to interprete his signals and hold him over a potty...way too stressfull for everyone involved. Wait until he's two and then if he is ready...says bathroom words, holds himself, shows interest in the potty, then you can try.

I am not sure if u r serious or just being silly.
But what I can say is in many parts of the world potty training does begin at 6 months , but its really really hard and needs hell lot of patience and effort on ur part.

6 months old really is too young, but when he IS ready, here's a good tip (its how my mother potty trained my two bothers): Buy a box of fruit loops cereal and put a few in the toilet. now tell them to aim and hit the fruit loops with their pee. they'll have blast and they won't be able to wait until they have to go potty again!

its a good time to start SHOWING him the potty, but perhaps too young to actually start training. 6 mo olds dont reallly have the concept down yet. they are barely walking at that age. dont push it too hard or youll end up with 20year old in daipers. give him time anddont expect him to go on his own yet. my friends baby i 9 months old and she is starting to potty train, but not yet trained. i would wait awhile befre really trying. commendable on the effort though!

I hope you mean 6 year old and not 6 month old. If your child is 6 months old and you are trying to potty train him your local health dept should offer parenting classes.

Um, children are not mentally nor physically able to be potty trained until they are 2 years of age. It is not even healthy to make them try before that age.
and with my kids, I asked them if they wanted to wear big girl panties and then I sat them down and explained to them what would happen if they peed in their big girl panties (wet bottom, etc). The day my youngest girl turned 2, she was on the potty by herself, haven't looked back.

Okay I know that a lot of countries potty train babies, but your son knows when he is ready, please do not force your son. Or if you really want to...um there are these things called books. Good Luck.
