I've had patience with her throughout our 15 years of friendship, but the questions just keep on increasing.

I just couldn't take it anymore, so I cut her off after about 3 unneccesary questions (in a nice, joking manner - yet very effective).

However, in the event of our upcoming luxurious vacation and all the excitement that goes along with it, I think I may extend her cross-examiner questioning to 5 questions per topic, instead of the usual 3 ... however, if she really abuses the privilege and over-induldges, she will be set right back for a day or two. Our husbands will be with us, so I figure I can let them humor her!

Should I write a rule book ahead of time, and shout out the Rule # that she is violating like they do in the movie "Wedding Crashers"?

That would be great fun!

your friend of 15 years? you have not said anything in 15 years? she does it cause you haven't explained to her that you can't handle all the questions. ask her politely to stop. don't write a rule book, that would be demeaning to her since she is grown woman with a husband.
if its too much for you to handle, do like someone else said and start asking her a million questions. but she is your friend so don't be rude. it could make the entire vacation horrible.

you are not a very good friend. part of being a friend is sharing stories and giving advice on kids marriage not sex thats sacred. or on anything if it bothers you tell her.
