My period was due on Dec. 10 but never arrived. I took a pregnancy test on the 16th and yesterday the 23rd, both were negative. I've been hungry alot more than usual but once i start eatin i feel sick. Also im tired all the time, plus i have noticed a little swelling in my lower abdomen region. Could the pregnancy tests be wrong or am i just being paranoid? Im 18 and in my second semester of college, so i've already thought about the factor of stress. Please help.

This being a spanking done with the HAND on the BOTTOM, leaving NO permanent marks (No bruising, welts, blisters...)

Abuse: meaning that these children should be taken out of the home, and placed in foster care. The spanker thrown in jail, and never have his/her children back. Because, as I see abuse, child abusers should never get a second chance. Are you going to group these parents in that catagory?

I hear the word "abuse" thrown around to much these days. Would you be willing to remove these children permentally from a loving home? Time to play king or queen for a day. If it was up to you. I only ask that you think very hard on it. Remember voting "yes" means a family is torn apart.

Similar question to my last one about using a belt. I want to know how stuck in the old days i am, lol. We never use belts but do pull down pants for a spanking.

Pleas answer the question with a "Yes" or "No" and then state your opinion if you wish.

I have an 11 month old son and he sleeps in my room in his crib. Sometimes when he's sleep, my husband and I may get a bit romantic (you know what I mean). Sometimes when he's playing quietly in his crib, we go for it....He has his own room but refuses to sleep in there, so we put his crib in our room. Is this appropriate?

I have been breast feeding my child, she is 5 months old. She had an issue with reflux and gas so in order to avoid giving her medication i didn't give her formula for sometime because i was told that breast milk was easier to digest. I have introduced formula to her. The last formula i gave her was prosobee but she ended up throwing up from it, but she didn't mind the taste she actually drank the formula without any problems. My dr. suggested nutramagen i have been trying to give this to her but she hardly will drink an ounce. Granted i have only tried for 2 days. I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice on how to slowly transition her to formula. I have no problem being patient with the process but i feel bad because she really doesn't like the taste and i feel bad making her take something she doesn't like. It does taste and smell HORRIBLE. I wanted to started giving her one feed a day and then slowly increase the number of feeds. Any suggestions would be VERY helpfu

My son has been doing this for about 3 months now, every time we change his diaper or give a bath he wants to play with them. In bath we use swim shorts up until it's time to clean him down there. However he is so rough that we can't allow him to tug, pull, and grab at them for too long, since he sometimes acutally scrathes his genitals. We have tried powders, cremes, lotions, etc. Could it be that he has ezcema? I have asked that doctor and he says that it is normal and to keep his nails short, which I do but no matter how short they are, they are still sharp enough for him to scratch them. And we want him to be able to explore his body, but not hurt himself in the process. Please help....

A child is created by a man and a woman and should be only placed with a male and female couple. If two men or two women decide to co-habitate or "marry" under the new legislation, they should not expect to be able to have the same rights to a child that generally they would not be able to biologically create. How would children be intimidated at school if they had to share with their schoolfriends that they had two mummies or daddies. This world is becoming a politically incorrect mess.

I'm trying to get pregnant but its too soon to test to see if I am. It should be fine if I dye my hair right? I know they say wait until the second trimester. I'm just making sure it wouldn't do anything to my baby if I am pregnant.

If the cyst has not gone away by my next sonogram, I will have to have surgery. Does anyone know what the risks are of an ovarian cyst this large during pregnancy? Why do I have to have surgery? Will the surgery be vaginally or will they have to make an incision? How likely is it that my cyst will go away? Anyone who has experienced this before, please help. Thank you!

(This is in response to the question: Why do working mothers despise stay at home mothers?)

I respect the choice of stay-at-home mothers to stay at home; why do many of them reject my choice to work?

My daughter goes to a good day care which she enjoys attending. The daycare is on-campus, so I can usually pop by and see her during lunch. I took as much maternity leave as I could (3 months), and worked only part-time for an additional 4 months. I breast feed, I pump, I co-sleep, and I feel like I am providing excellent care for her (she's 7 months old now).

I enjoy my job. Yes, I have the financial need to work, but I also need the intellectual stimulation that my job provides.

Yet so many people think I should feel bad about working, or assume that I am not providing the best possible care for my baby. When did it become acceptable to work, but unacceptable to not feel bad about it?

My son has GERD, so a full bottle to him is 5 oz instead of 8 oz. But it's not just formula, it has rice cereal mixed in with it. I know most of the answers I will get will be for a "normal" baby. I'm just trying to get a general idea.

So, with eating three meals a day, how much formula should a nine month old still get?

Alright I am now in the process of planning a wedding which will be in 7 months. I want to get on some kind of birth control until a month before the wedding. I was thinking about trying that Ortho Tri Cyclin lo birth control pill, because this is only going to be a temporary thing. I already have my dress picked out and don't want to get pregnant or even open myself up to the chance of getting pregnant right now. Is this a good type of temporary birth control?? We will also be using condoms but he doesn't wear them for the entire time he usually puts it on right before he is about to go. and i know you can get pregnant off of precum so I don't want to take any chances here. Anyone taken this type of birth control and if so how long did it take you to get pregnant once you were off of the pill?? If you don't think this is a good type of birth control can you suggest another kind that is good to use for a short time. thanks so much

I need to pump my milk and ‘am currently renting the Ameda Lact-E which works great. I want to buy a pump instead of renting one and don’t know whether to buy the Lact-E or the Purely Yours pump. What is important for me is the effectiveness of the pump. My dilemma is that one is bulky and heavy, whereas the other one looks more convenient and easy to carry. Does any one have any experience with both pumps? Which one is better? Does Purely Yours work as well as Lact-E?
Thank you for your help in advance

My 4 year old son just started Tae Kwon Do class twice a week and already I can see a difference in him. He has never been "bad" by any means, but typical 4 year old attitude problems, and since starting this I already see a lot more respect. Has anyone else had their child in Tae Kwon Do or a similar class? What did you think of it?

I need help! Our stroller was lost on our trip from Chennai. Since I'm pregnant (16 weeks) we're looking for a twin stroller. Our oldest will be 16 months when the baby arrives.

I'm stuck on what stroller is best. I've read all the reviews for Graco DuoGlider, Joovy Big Caboose, and Peg Perego.

Does anyone have real life experience they can help guide me in the right direction?

FYI: Our carseat is the Graco Snug Ride. We have an SUV so size isn't an issue. I want something durable and easy to steer (as possible).
