I need to pump my milk and ‘am currently renting the Ameda Lact-E which works great. I want to buy a pump instead of renting one and don’t know whether to buy the Lact-E or the Purely Yours pump. What is important for me is the effectiveness of the pump. My dilemma is that one is bulky and heavy, whereas the other one looks more convenient and easy to carry. Does any one have any experience with both pumps? Which one is better? Does Purely Yours work as well as Lact-E?
Thank you for your help in advance

Alot of moms that I know are really happy with the Purely Yours pump as it is efficient and when they went back to work they were able to pump their milk with no issues.

I have heard only good things about the Ameda and I plan to get this pump before I return back to work. I also know it's a lot less cheaper then some of these other electric pumps and it is just as good.

I have a Lansinoh Double Electric Pump, which I bought nearly 6 years ago when my daughter (oldest of 3) was a baby. Not sure if it's the same model or not. I used it several times a day for about a week, then once a day for a few months, and only a few times since them. I have been happy with it and it worked well for my needs. I have no idea how well it would hold up with long time daily usage though, as I haven't needed to use it that much. I haven't done any pumping at all for my youngest (11 months).
