Uh, it's still January of '07! We're nowhere near June yet. So tell me, how can your period start on the first day of June when it hasn't even started June yet! Don't you look and proof read your question before you submit it?! I guess you mean you started your period on the first day of this month. Well, if so, then wait another week or two to take a pregnancy test. And next time, proof read your questions!

5 days before you expect your next period. but if your cycle is only 23 days you may have trouble conceiving because of a short luethal phase.. this is when your body produces progesterone to prepare the lining of the uterus to accept the fertilized egg and if it is shortened and not ready then the fertilized egg will not attach itself. a normal cycle should be 28 days on day 14 from the first day of your period being day one. day 14 the egg releases but the reason you can get pregnant by having sex before or after this is that sperm can live inside the body for 72 hours. if you are trying to get pregnant and not being able to this may be something to check into. the doctor can prescribe a drug called clomid to regulate you to a 28 day cycle or progesterone suppositories.

I took a pregnancy test 2 days before my "missed" period and it was positive. There are different tests that you can take either a certain amount of days before your period is due or after you missed your period. Good luck!

There are ones on the market that can trace the pregnancy hormone 4 - 5 days before your next period is due. Check with ur local pharmacy.

Jan 20th but its not guaranteed you'll get the right result. I got a positive 4 days before my period was to start. I would test again on Jan 24th just to be sure! good luck=)

I took mine (both times) just a few days after my missed period and they were both positive. The better quality test you take the better chances are it would work sooner (to test the hormone level)

can i just say to everybody who has menioned that it isnt june yet - in england we put our dates day/month/year in america it is month/day/year - i thought everybody knew that. oh yeah, i almost forgot - the tests that can detect pregnancy ealier than your period is due have the accuracy on back of box and arent all that accurate until your due date therefore i would wait till about the 29th jan.
