im 18 weeks pregnant and once in awhile i get this really sharp shocking feeling in my tummy, like my whole body goes numb. Seriously like a shock. I called the dr and he said its probably just the baby moving on a nerve. Anyone ever have this before???Thanks!!!

Yes !!! I am 18 weeks also, and had this exact pain. It feels like right next to my belly button pulls and tingles, then gets horrible pain for just a few minutes then it goes away. Sometimes it makes me feel faint. It seems to happen after activity including bending more so than any other time.

Oh God yes!

With my first it was a sharp pain in my cervix area that would come and go. It's wasn't nearly as bad as this pregnancy. I'll be bending down picking up toys and it feels like I've been stabed in the cervix! My doc says it's because I carry my babies so low. And, this one is even lower than the first...probably kicking or rolling right on/over my cervix.

OUCH!

I just try to change positions or start wobbling from side to side to get the baby dislodged. Laying on my left side for a minute helps too.

Yep, went to the hospital in an ambulance because i was walking in town (i dont' drive) and got stranded i couldn't move it hurt soooo much. I thought there HAS to be something wrong... it hurt THAT much. Well turns out it was just round ligament pain because i was walking too much. I've been taking it easy ever since. It still bites me sometimes when i stand up, sit down, move the wrong way etc. But i'll never get THAT BAD again.. ouchies!

Yes. Id get the pain on my left side for an entire day. I was concerned but as long as it doesnt last for more that a day or so. And there is no "cramping" and bleeding you are ok. Its easy to worry about every little thing.

Drink a full glass of water and try elivating your feet. Tylenol is ok also if you are very uncomfortable. Try that and see if it doesnt relieve your pain.

Congrats!!

Yep! Had it in my first. Not looking forward to it again. I am now 8 weeks pregnant. But I definitely know what you mean. It usually gets better later on.
