I have breastfed my baby for almost four months now and I have had a period every month. I read in books that if you breastfeed, you aren't supposed to have a period.

My husband and I are on a tight budget. We want to make the major purchases for the baby over as much time as we can. When do you feel the right time is? We don't want to start too soon, for fear of disappointment(miscarriage). Do you think 12 weeks is too early?

I feel a bit akward asking. I dont usually do this sort of thing but im not sure what im suppose to do so here it is; My boyfreind and I sorta kinda had unprotected sex. I was a virgin and didnt let him put it in all the way but he put in enough, anyway now im late. So i took my freinds birthcontrol pills that supposidly make u have ur period (the green ones) the name of the pills are orthotrycylin (excuse the spelling). I'm stil without period and im kinda worried.

I can repeat the letters over and over, even put them into songs other than singing the abc's.(I even dance around and make her laugh) She seems to get it all day long, but when the next day rolls around, she says she has no idea and says that her tummy hurts, etc. (I guess to get out of it?) I've worked with SO many 3 year olds before, but she's my hardest! I can't seem to do enough to get her to memorize her abc's. I'm worried she'll be behind; (I stay at home, no daycare) she's so smart but this is a problem. I've been working with her for over as year, and I think she might have to be with other kids to actually influence her to learn this stuff.

I've heard a few times that in order to have a great marriage that you should always put your husband before your children. Now I want everyone's opinion about this. Please let me know who you put first and how your marriage is. As far as I go, I put my daughter before my husband all the time and as for our marriage, well it could be better. I am 19 weeks pregnant with bad 24/7 sickness. When we do have sex it hurts me. And I am never really in the mood. Anything I can do? He doesn't complain but I want him to be happy! We havnt done anything sexual for the past month! I know pretty bad, but I want to. Any ideas on how I can get in the mood, and what we can do other than sex? Or just any tips on what you did ?

Every time I mix my son's formula, it gets a lot of air bubbles that are nearly impossible to get rid of, even if I let the bottle sit for a few minutes. I've also tried putting his gas drops in with it, but it doesn't make that big of a difference. Any suggestions?

I just got my BFP last week and have a dr's appt on 1/25. I am about 9/10 weeks. My question to you moms out there is what do I do next. It just seems like there's so much to think about and plan and organize and I don't have a clue on how to proceed. I just don't know what the logical steps are to make it through these 9 months. It would be great if I could jump right to picking out names and buying nursery furniture but I doubt it's ALL fun and games. So could someone please help me out and let me know what and when I should take care of in the 1st and 2nd trimesters? I would really appreciate the help as I feel like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to figure this out on my own. I am taking care of getting medicaid and I have my 1st appt already but now what...? Thank You for your help!

I recently started putting in applications for jobs. I have a 11 month old and I have NEVER let a stranger watch him. We have moved out of state and I have no friends or family around to help me. My husband makes enough for me to stay at home. I wanted to go back to work to just get out of the house. I had a phone interview and I am expecting a second interview. I am getting cold feet. It started out that I can't find anyone around here who is accepting infants, I searched and called every name on the military referral lists. I am on the waiting list on the base, I even called places out of the phone book! No luck! Now I worry about what I will miss out on and is it really worth it to go back to work after paying child care fees??

Any thoughts? I need some REAL advice. Please!?

Hi Hubby and I are trying to get pregnant... Got my period this month but not normal not even close very very light for 2 days then 2 days of spotting, peeing alot sometimes 4 times in less then 2 hours, pulling sensation in lower stomach, feeling sick every once in a while, now almost 2 weeks later cramping... but no normal period what do you guys think??

First they tell us our babies can fly out of practically any carseat we get. So since i'm pregnant the first thing i did was check the carseat we used for our daughter and will be using again. Then i was thinking well if the test the company did on them was wrong with all those other ones, how do we know the tests done on mine aren't wrong...pregnancy makes me worry about everything. But now, they are saying all those tests were wrong, that the speeds were way higher than they said and that they have to do them all over again. I just wanted to know if anyone else was as irritated with this as i am.

I had my tubes reversed 06/23/2006 in hopes of getting pregant again. In November 06 I found out I was pregant. We were so excited. My husband is 28 where I am 37. This would be our first child together. I was getting my blood drawn as advised my Dr. Berger (Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal). When it came time for my ultra sound it was heart breaking. I was 7 weeks pregant in my right tube. The pregency was so high up the doctors thought I would loose my ovary as well. To make a long story shorter, I now have only the left tube. Due to the scare tissue from having my tubes tied and then reversed the navel doctor's recommended I not try again but opt for IVF. We are torn, what do we do? We are not rich people and can not afford IVF right now. We want a baby very much though. My question is "Has this happened to you or someone you knew" What are my odds of natural conception?

My daughter will be a year old Feb. 20th. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good no-spill sippy cup that is easy to drink whole milk out of? My daughter uses regular sippy cups now (that aren't no-spill) for juice and water and loves them, but when it comes to the no-spill ones she does not like them because it is hard to get anything out of them!! We will be traveling by train from Washington to Iowa a month after her first birthday and I need to find some good sippys that travel well! :)

im 5 weeks and ive been bleeding a little like brownish blood and im scared ill have a miscarriage i had a son and because of that i had him at 20 weeks and died acouple of days later of sids he died in the incubator and doctors dont know why...but im scared is this brownish like blood normal or should i be worried

I tried to do a search for this on Yahoo and WebMD, but i couldn't find information on women.

I know the prolactin levels are controlled by the pituitary gland in the brain. The chemical is also elevated when breast feeding. I am NOT breast feeding.

I can't find any info on this topic and TTC? I know it will cause me to stop ovulating, irregular cycles, but I dont know anything else about it.
