It can be difficult at any age. But it is especially difficult if the parents are in a situation which will add to the degree of difficulty. If a parent-to-be has doubts of their ability to raise a child, then I would strongly recommend looking at giving the child a better future through adoption services. The well-being of the child IS the most important thing to consider.

Its hard to raise a baby reguardless of your age. They take a lot of time & patience. Having a baby should be a well thought out decision by both the mom and the father. If ur young, finish school, get a good career, get married, then raise a baby.

Sometimes it is, at any age it is difficult. Don't listen to people when they say if you were older it would be easier, I have seen my share of older mothers pulling their hair out, and I have seen my share of young mothers doing the same. I'm 21, and I have a 2 yr old and a 9 month old. I take care of my children sometimes with ease and sometimes, they are both screaming at me, and I just put a smile on my face and try not to shed a tear. My sister is older than me, and she doesn't know how to take care of children and she has two. It's all about the person. I'm 21 my husband and I own our own home, and we have a stable lifestyle for our children and I wouldn't want it any other way. I wouldn't be able to carry my baby if I was older (I have a bad back) So I decided to have my children young, and I read a lot about children, and I am planning to have a career in child development. So, at any age it doesn't matter, we all go through the same thing, it's hard, but it's worth it.

It is hard to raise a baby at any age I am 26 years old and had experience with children but when the baby is your own it is much different. I am not sure how old you are but I suggest waiting t o have a baby if you have to ask this question.GOOD LUCK

Yes it is. I don't know how old you are. But I was 17 when I had my daughter. My bf was 23 and no help what so ever. If you are young and thinking about getting pregnant-WAIT. If you are already pregnant good luck. Lean on your parents for support as much as you can. Being a young or teen mother or father is hard. Good luck.

yes. And when you're older. And make sure you have tons of help because having a 7 month old at home I can confirm it takes AT LEAST 2 people to raise a baby -even if one is just to keep mom sane.

Yes. Babies require lots of attention. You need to care for them on their schedule, not yours. My first baby woke up three times a night for six months, and I was working full time. I got _very_ tired. Remember, even if you don't like it, you can't return it. Caring for a baby requires lots of maturity, so don't rush it, but I am so thankful I had two wonderful boys (when I was 30 and 35). Today, they are 22 and 17 and they bring me lots of joy. The work was worth it--just don't let anyone tell you it's not a lot of work.

YES. I HAD A BABY AT 17, YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO PUT THAT BABY AND ITS NEED AHEAD OF YOURS. WHAT YOU WANT DOESNT MATTER ANYMORE. I DONT KNOW HOW YOUNG YOU ARE BUT IT MAYBE TOUGH FOR A WHILE AND YOU MAY STRUGGLE BUT IF YOU WORK HARD AND ARE DETERMINED TO SUCCEED YOU WILL MAKE AND IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE END. DEPENDING ON HOW OLD YOU ARE YOU KIND OF GET TO GROW UP TOGETHER. MINE WILL BE 12 IN 3 WEEKS
