Let your friend know that whether you like him or not is not what is important.... However, what should really matter is that you're BEST FRIENDS and that you appreciate your friendship with her more than any boy and you would not do anything to betray her. That should not only be your answer, that should be the honest truth. If you can't tell her those words with 100% honesty then you need to realize that both of you need better friends.

what reason would she think that? u have to really watch your self about things like that.I would try to talk to her,if that don't work i would let her know what the friendship means to you back off and give her space give everyone time to think and not saying that you are but don't be a third wheel in her relationship it can lead to problems as well.If your true friends and there is trust it will work out.
