I have a 4 month old and I refuse to change my daugther in the public washrooms, I just find them to be a big germ magnet. My fiance prefers I use the washrooms to change her instead of out in public in front of everyone, but I don't like the washrooms and I just change her where ever I am. Any opinions on this?

i tried the technique where i put him in the bed and every time he comes out of his room, i carry him back to his bed without saying anything to him. This soon became a game for him and he actually enjoyed it. Then i started getting firm with him and commanding him to stay in his bed. Now he cries nonstop for hours until he falls asleep AND wakes up in the middle of the night crying and wont go back to sleep for 3 or 4 hours. So Im so sleep deprived and im desperate to get him to sleep.

Why is passing gas such a huge question on here? In pregnancy its normal, its not a pleasant part of pregnancy, but it does happen. ALOT! and at the worst times too!

I am curious, I dont mean any disrespect to anyone about this. Are there many women who have major issues with this?

I'm 26 and she is 15 and is also pregnant after we had sex because the condom broke.. I also know that she is underage and feel bad about that too. I just really don't want the responsibility of having a baby, but I will help in anyway she wants me to and be there for her.

now all of a sudden I got two phone calls in 2 weeks from that girl that i havent even talked to,she tells me that she has something very important to tell me I only met her once and thats it i dont have any kind of social relationship with her. . If she tells me she is pregnant i will die, i used a condom for sure. if she is pregnant why did she wait so long to tell me? and what can i do if she is pregnant? if DNA tests say it is mine, can i refuse to take financial responsibility? My daughter is almost 10. She's had a cell phone since she was 7. She has a PS2, 30" TV, TiVO, iPod and a computer (with internet connection, filtering software and keylogger) in her room. She picks her own clothes, has streaks in her hair (think Lindsey Lohan in Freaky Friday) and enjoys experimenting with makeup.

NOW... Before you brand me the evil parent here is what you should know. We study together every night, watch cartoons every morning, I never miss her sporting events or school functions, she has more friends than she can keep up with and she is a straight A student.

Also... Stuff means nothing to her. She regularly donates toys and clothes to the local homelss shelters. We even donate to the less fortunate on-line together. People are very important to her so it makes her sad when friends say she is spoiled.

She and I are doing this together (so watch your language please). What do you think? Is she spoiled or just dearly loved?

I am a little over a week past ovulation. Right now I am experiencing some symptoms that could be related to early pregnancy or a pending period. I would like some opinions please. For the last few days my breast's have been sore and heavy getting worse and worse as they days progress. I have been eating non stop and not feeling full. I have been having some terrible heartburn and a huge increase in cervical mucus, it is lotion like and is an off white color and kind of sweet smelling ( please don't be immature about that comment ) I have been feeling minor twinges in my stomach and have been having horrible insomnia lately not getting to be until 4 sometimes 5am and sleeping in until noon ( good thing my little one sleeps in late too ) I don't want to get my hopes up only to get let down again, I am due to start on the 19th of this month so in about 6 days. I would really like some opinions as to what you all think this could be, should i start to get excited or not?????

Your in-laws came into your house and started on you about your house and you can eat off our floors.start on me about my kids I am adopting 3 more and They are my babies.

My six month old has two large bumps on each side of the back of his neck. They are hard like bones and can be felt easily by a hand. I have nothing like this on my neck? They are at the bottom of his head/ very top of neck. I do not think they are swollen lymphnodes. They are much harder and larger than that. He has his six month well check on Monday so I will ask the Dr then. Does anyone else's child have these? What do you think?

my daughter turns 2 on the 2nd of feb....we have organised her big girl room about 6 months ago....she has a queen size bed and we have done it up with butterflies (she loves butterflies)....she loves the room and wants to sleep there...every night she asks to sleep in the butterfly room.....however when i put her in i read her a story and then tell her its bed time she fiddles and walks about and refuses to sleep..i have tried staying in there with her with my back to her...(as seen on supernanny)..after an hour and half we give up and put her back in the nursery.....my son moved to his big boy bed at 19months and i had no drama...
please share your stories and give me any advise that you may think could be helpful
