Not nessicarily, It could be your hub..yes he fathered a son, BUT that was 10 years ago, men as well as women can lose verrility with age! If you are near his age you should go to a fertility specialist. 6 months is the max for that age range for trying to concieve without pregnancy. It took my hubby and me 4 years to get pregnant with my son. You know how we did it? We stopped trying! yep, we gave up and stopped thinking about it and 2 months later we were pregnant. We have been trying for a second child since May 06, with no luck. I have insulin resistance and PCOS, so, you should BOTH see a doctor just to see whats going on. chances are you just need to relax for a while and stop worrying so much. If all is normal with the both of you, It will happen in God's time. I wish you both the best of luck and Please know you are not alone. I know exactly how you feel good luck!

No you aren't the problem. The same thing happened to me and my husband. It also happened to my own mom. It took her 7 years to conceive me.
While there may be a problem with you; it isn't a sure thing.
Is he wearing boxer shorts or briefs?
Anything other than boxer shorts creates too much heat in the testicle area killing off viable sperm. Just because he has a 10 yr. old doesn't mean that he still has the same sperm count as he did then. It might be lower and he could be killing off what few he has. Only a doctor can tell for sure.
Sometimes the need to get pregnant so badly often interferes with the ability.
Try to determine your ovulation periods. Make an appt. with you OB/GYN and get checked out to make sure all of your hormone levels are normal etc...
Don't give up until you are told by a professional that there is a medical reason you aren't getting pregnant.
Subsequently , I got pregnant 4 times. All I had to do is put my clothes next to my husbands after that first time and I would get pregnant.
Sadly, we lost one but we have 3 wonderful, healthy guys.
Good Luck!

4 years is a long time to try without getting pregnant. You really do need to go to the doctor. There are so many reason why you're not getting pregnant. It would take too long to list all the reasons, but your OB can start to help you figure out what the problem is. It could be something as simple as you not ovulating and he could give you a drug called Clomid which helps you ovulate. It could be something more complicated. You never know. If he can't figure it out he can send you to a fertility specialist. I wouldn't wait any longer. I would go to the dr. now and see what can be done. It has to be so frustrating and disappointing to be trying this long with no luck.

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

u might be but dont feel bad a lotta women cant have kids he could also be the problem, a lot happens in 10 years! u could get ur husband to donate sperm and inject it into another women and she could have the baby.... or u can adopt but that's a lotta work and it has a big impact on ur emotions as far as becoming attached to the child and having to give it back bcuz the parent decides that they want the baby at that point. I suggest that u should just love the one u have!

your doctor needs to take tests to see if you're ovulating, and check your eggs.
It doesn't matter if he had a kid when he was 21. It's been 10 years. He could be the issue, too. Have his sperm count checked.

you could be the problem, not to put you down. Try going to a doctor, they can give you tips and possibly do a thing where they take your egg and his sperm and fertilize it, then insert it back into you. Id see a doctor and have them give you advice of what to do. Good luck
