Our son is a few days shy of 15 weeks, and he is showing lots of symptoms of teething. We've tried frozen washcloths, cold washcloths, Oragel, and rubbing his gums. The only thing that seems to work is Baby Tylenol, but it only lasts for 2-3 hours. What else can we try?

I would prefer to be answered only by people with serious answers please, as this is a serious question having to do with the health of my child and not a subject to joke with. My 3 month old son has gone to the neurologist for possible seizures, and though their test was inconclusive, they noticed another possible problem, he doesn't pay much attention to stimulation from his left side. He responds eventually, but seems much quicker to react from his right than the left. The doctor said it was common and not too problematic as long as not followed by other symptoms such as hand preference, as it can signal a damage in one of the brain hemispheres. Yet just today, I noticed he sucks on his right hand much more than his left, and when I held his right down to force him to suck on the left, he was much more uncoordinated trying to get it into his mouth. My question is based on your experiences with your own children, does this sound like simple infant uncoordination, or hand preference?

My daughter is 27 months old. I need to give her some Tylenol for her cold, but I'm unsure if it's better to give her Infant Tylenol or Children's Tylenol. The Infant Tylenol label gives dosing information for children up to age 3 and many of the Children's Tylenol gives dosing information for children ages 2-6. Should she receive infant or children's medicine? I'll call the pediatrician tomorrow, but I'd like to know now what experienced parents suggest.

My friend, her parents are getting a divorce. I've been thru a divorce like 2 years ago. It was hard and I'm really feeling for her right now. I'm not sure what to do because like when my parents divorced I just wanted everyone to treat me like nothing was happening but then I was really feeling crappy too. I'm not sure how I can support her the best?

Should I ignore what she's going thru or talk to her about it? Or do something else? Please... I'm sonfused. Because whenever she talks about it, I just feel so sad and broken and it makes me think of my own life, and I start wanting to cry. I'm 13.. And yeah... What should I do?

However, he has been waking up for the past week all the sudden 3 to 4 times a night. I breast feed so it's easy to just pull him in bed and fall back a sleep.."BAD HABIT" forming I know! I just love having him there!! Well, tonight is the first night he is sleeping in his crib in his own room. I'm still wide awake and can't sleep! My husband blew up the air mattress and we put it on the floor in my sons room to sleep. of course my husband fell right asleep in there but I'm still wide awake. It just seems so nice and comfy to have my little one in my bedroom. I just know if he doesn't start sleeping in his own room now this bad habit of him being in my bed is gonna be harder on him the longer I wait.I plan on getting pregnant with our 2nd child here in 3 more months.I want our children very close in age growing up. okay so not really a question here but just looking for others that have had MOMMY ANXIETY not having my BABY N MY ROOM!!

My oldest will be starting preschool this year. She is so excited about it and talks about school constantly. Every day she asks me "When do I goto school mommy?". I don't tell her but it breaks my heart everytime I hear that. I know my bbay is getting bigger and that she preschool will be good for her. My question is, what do I do to keep myself from going insane? I know it will probably only get worse when she actually starts school. Any tips to help me ease into the fact that she will be in preschool?

I have a four year old. His biological father has only seen him once since the day he was born. Of course, I was dumb enough to put his last name on the birh certificate and have him sign it. My husband really wants to adopt him. He has taken care of him since he was five months. My son knows my husband as dad. I also get child support checks from the biological father. I just want my husband to adopt my son and I have no idea how. Someone Please help me, I want to get this done as soon as possible. Thank You

My friend is newly pregnant with her second child and is having some trouble. During her first pregnancy it was discovered that her cervix was very friable and she bled quite a bit. This time around she's bleeding alot and worried that she will not be able to support the pregnancy.
Anyone have experience with this? Any advice on what to tell her?
Yes she has excellent medical care and is being watched carefully, very carefully, so that's not an issue. I just have no idea what to tell her as a friend. Neither she nor I have known anyone else who's experienced this, so we have nothing to compare to. I'm her best friend and I just don't know what to say to support her. HELP!!!!!

They detected by ultrasound that my son only had 1 kidney, and what was left of the other one was cystic, after he was born the other one disappeared. Just wondering how common this is, and if anyone else has had a child with the same problem.

My daughter is 6 years old. My husband has been in her life since she was 2 months old and her real father has had no relationship with her at all. When my husband and I got married her biological father signed over his rights so my husband could adopt her. She has always had a relationship with her paternal grandparents but just recently she has wondered why she has three sets of grandparents. I just told her because she was a special girl and left it at that. I was never up front with her about her real dad because I thought she was too young and I couldn't and still can't imagine having to tell a child their own parent wanted nothing to do with them. It hurts me that I have to tell her but I know I will have to do it but I'm just not sure if I should now at this age or if I should wait. Also what would be the best way for me to tell her? Any suggestions would be great.

At first I thought it was funny, now I'm wondering how long this is going to last. Anyone else every expierence a problem like this?

And I don't have any problem with that, but she won't stop being... grr. Like, she keeps asking me, every week, "If I were gay, would you stop being my friend?" and every time, I answer, "No, I wouldn't care, just realize I'm not and I don't want you to bother me" and whenever I tell her she asks that a lot, she's like "OH, I'M JUST JOKING!" Also, whenever she hugs me or something, she feels the need to say, "Molestation" in this really annoying high-pitched voice. It's making me extremely uncomfortable and she's really pissing me off, what can I do? /:
