the bump looks almost like a blister. i'm not sure if maybe it's just scar tissue or if i should be concerned and call the ped. when they open.

My friend is pregnant and two and a half weeks overdue. By all accounts, the baby is healthy and active. The doctors want to induce her labor, but my friend is convinced that the baby will come in its own time and refuses to consider this option. Is it dangerous for a baby to be overdue. And if not, why would the doctors want to induce instead of waiting until the baby is ready to come out in its own time?

My 3 month old daughter saw the doctor yesterday and she is a more advanced 3 month old and so the doctor said she can no longer sleep in her bouncer because she could flip it over and not in her bassinet because she can flip over and is starting to pull herself into a sitting position. She has been sleeping with me and her doctor really wants her in her own crib, but when I try to do this she gets soooo upset she makes herself throw up. Please please please help me. I have tried everything.

Everyday he fights with me saying he does not want to go to school,because since gone back to school from Christmas holidays he has a new teacher,he keeps saying he is nervious.and I also have a two and a half year old to drag back in fourth in the cold,my son refuses to walk?or he walks so slow we freeze to death,I don't know what more to do.HELP

Question Details: We had unprotected sex 3 times. She took Postinor (2 pills) after each time. She still got pregnant. We are worried the baby may not be normal or she might miss-carry because of the strong doses of Postinor she took right after. Does anyone (preferably a doctor) have any information on the effects of ECP on a foetus.

I take care of this 8 month old baby. His body is so stiff. You can't move his arms or legs without feeling like you're going to break them. He seems to be pretty behind in a lot too. For example, he can't roll over yet, he's just barely sitting up, even still, he falls over. Is this something to be concerned with? Worth talking to the parents about. He also cries all day, like he's in pain or something. Has anyone ever heard of this?

how early is too early to feel symtoms? and is there a time on how early you start to feel the symtoms?

i have been with my boyfriend for about two months...every morning i wake up and get sick, i wake up in the mid of the night and get sick...in the mid of the day i get sick...i know everyone is going to say take a preg test....just want to see if it is too soon or how soon it could be, or if i could just have a bug?...please respond with any advice you may have.

My fiance and I had sex at the right time during my cycle. I've had dull, period-like cramps for the past week. My period is scheduled to start in 2 days and I've never felt cramps before it starts. I took a pregnancy test this morning, the line was so very faint I almost couldn't see it, but it's not my imagination, it's really there! Could I really be pregnant?!?!?

iv just entered my 7th month of pregnancy and have taken my break from work. iv found that i sleep too much during the day- for abt 3 hours or so.i usually end up napping in the post lunch.its making me feel groggy and uncomfortable thinking of it. but i seem to sleep well enough during the nights.. is this ok? or have i become lazy? will i put on unnecessary weight?

I have a 11 months old girl and my son will be 3 in march. they both wake up around 5 - 5:30 AM. My sone goes to sleep anywhere from 7:30 - 8:00PM and sleeps throught the night. I've tried letting him stay up to 10:00pm and he still wakes up at the same time. He doesn't usualy nap anymore during the day unless we go for a car ride then he falls asleep right away in the car. But that doesn't help either. For my daughter, i've tried to leep her up passed 8:00pm but she's soooo tired so she usualy goes down around 7:30 - 8:00pm and she sleeps through the niight too. But 5:30am is way to early tfor them to be getting up.
How can I get them to sleep longer?

If only men knew what we have to go through when TTC. They seem to just have a nonchalant attitude about it. I am on day 12 of a 26 day cycle and I should ovulate tommorow. I wanted to bd last night but hubby didn't and we had a big arguement about it. We talked this morning and agreed to try tonight but I wonder if it's too late!! I had o pains last night and I know the egg doesn't last long..it figures, the one night we should have done it and it got screwed up because of an arguement. I feel so depressed right now. I have no o pains today and wonder if I've already ovulated and missed it. This is so frustrating!! Is there still a good chance I could get pregnant??

How do you afford to have maternity leave and then pay for child care when you go back?
im preg with my first child and was wondering how people manage money wise whilts they are on maternity leave and when they have to go back to work can anyone give me any tips on this me and my partner both work full time and come home with about 1800 after tax and ni we have about 400 to spare when we have paid the house bills and stuff we are not a couple who go made with money and dont go out all the time i was just wondering how everybody else managed because i know im not on my own.thank in advance of your reply

Drug use and violence in front of kids. 8 and 9yr old can recognise and describe someone who is overdosing on drugs. Lack of rules, routine or dicipline for kids. Irresponsible behavior encouraged (eg ripping off other people for personal gain, laughing at others misfortunes). Kids left home alone for long periods without supervision. Screaming matches between mum and 9yr old - neighbour called DOCS. Kids not attending school becasue mum (who doesnt work) often sleeps past 10am and therefore isnt awake to ensure the attend. Mother claims she cannot control children or stop them doing what they want, even after she says no, but there is no punishment or consecquence
