My fiance and I had sex at the right time during my cycle. I've had dull, period-like cramps for the past week. My period is scheduled to start in 2 days and I've never felt cramps before it starts. I took a pregnancy test this morning, the line was so very faint I almost couldn't see it, but it's not my imagination, it's really there! Could I really be pregnant?!?!?

Defiantly,
I always cramp in The very very beginning of my pregnancy . It is the feeling of the egg implanting into the uterus. I am in my 24th week of pregnancy with my fifth child. I had taken a pg test very early on just like you did and it was so faint that I had to actually turn it sideways to see the pink line but, if you see any line at all even the faintest of the faint you are pregnant. I waited a few more days and took another one and it was still faint but a bit darker. If your a bit worried what you can do is go and buy a digital test and take that even if it detects the slightest hormone it will come up with the word pregnant. That is what I did and the Dr. confirmed it. Once you take that test you can eject the strip and you'll also see two blue lines if it was positive. Good luck to you and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any positive line, no matter how faint, is still a positive result. Congratulations. The hcg hormone that the test detects doubles every 2-3 days when you are pregnant. If you got a faint line now, you should get a dark one within a day or two. You can also just call your doctor and they can have you take a blood test, which will show the level of hcg. I would suggest that so you can start your prenatal care ASAP. Also, if you haven't done so already, I recommend taking prenatal vitamins right away. The folic acid in them is very important in early fetal development. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

ANY line- no matter how faint - is confirmation. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! If you retest in a few days you should see the line get darker...but earlier testing sometimes results in a line that you question "Is it really there?" but if you see only the lightest faintest line...it can only be formed by having the hormones that you do - becuase you are preggo!

Wishing you the best for a happy and healthy 9 months!!! I have a faint line test and a beautiful baby girl. My best friend just got a very faint line and then had a blood pregnancy test in early Dec. and she is now 8 weeks preggo!

You may be but I would wait untill your period is late. Then I would take a test and see what the results are. If your not satisfied with a home test then go to your Dr and get a blood test. Good Luck!!

if you wasn't pregnant you would not get a line a all.but maybe your losing the fetus at this early stage as years ago before test women didn't even relies they were pregnant and lost fetus.don't despair best now then further on and good luck

I would wait the two days if you don't get your period, the best bet would be go to your doctor and take a test there
