THIS IS A SCARRY QUESTION FOR ME. i HAD SEX WITH A EX ON SEPT. 18, 2006 ( I AM ON B/C PILLS) I HAD SOMETHING LIKE A PERIOD IN OCT. AND A FULL PERIOD IN NOVEMBER. BUT IN DECEMBER I DIDN'T HAVE MY PERIOD WENT TO THE DOC, THEY SAY POSITIVE ON THE TEST,(THATS GOOD) BUT IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY THAT I GOT PREGNANT IN SEPT EVEN THOUGH I WAS ON B/C PILLS. BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE ME ALMOST 5 MTHS I DIDN'T START FEELING ANY SYMPTHOMS UNTIL ABOUT 4 WKS AGO. COULD THAT HAPPEN ARE AM I JUST FREAKING OUT. PLEASE HELP!! NO JOKES PLEASE THIS IS SERIOUS. ALSO DOES YOU STOMACH START TO BLOAT LIKE WHEN YOUR PERIOD IS ON WHEN YOU ARE EARLY IN THE PREGNANCY?

I think that birth control pills have to be prescribed by a doctor, but I don't want to use my parent's health insurance because I'd feel uncomfortable with them knowing that I'm on the pill. Condoms are horrible and I can't stand using them anymore. How do I get the pill?

I need to know how to measure the formula per ounce because the scoop is missing from the can of formula for the baby that I am babysitting. It gives you the grams in the scoop but I just need to know how much to put in a 4 ounce bottle.

I have a 4 year old niece who is just like any other child this age. Whenever my sister tells her to do something, and she either doesn't listen or understand her the first time, she will sometimes refer to my niece as "goofy". She will say something like "That's what I just told you to do, goofy girl." Do you think this could psychologically affect my niece as she grows up?

I was supposed to get my period this week. Wednesday - specifically. It still hasn't come - I am planning on buy a pregnancy test on my way home from work tonight.... I drink a lot of water througout the day - should I stop drinking so much - prior to the test? Do you think it's too early to tell?

Basically what I want to know is if my result will be accurate if I take the test tonight? I don't want to waste the money on a test if I can't trust the result...

Also - What hpt is the best to buy?

I've noticed in this forum a lot that everyone blames problems on the parents. It's really starting to get to me. I can't imagine what all my parents could be to "blame" for.

Why is our first reaction to always blame parents for a teen's or child's behavior? I know it's the first thing that comes to mind but why don't we ever think of all the influences in a child's life before placing blame on one particular thing.

What behavior do you think parents couldn't be blamed for?

I am almost 38 weeks, and for the past couple weeks, I have been having severe swelling on my right ride, mainly in my right foot, ankle, and calf. It can be painful, especially at night. I wake up (sleep on both right and left sides) and I can barely close my right hand, and the swelling in my foot is still there. I have gained about 30lbs in the past 6 weeks, but the doctors dont seem concerned. One suggested that I buy the support hose...I guess my question is whether it is worth it to buy them when I could go into labor anytime, (theyre expensive!) and whether anyone else has had the swelling so dominant to one side? I guess I am just getting anxious and worried...thanks for your help!

Saw my colleague's new baby girl today at work. I held her and now I feel really broody (to be honest I was before!)
But it made me realise how much I would love to have a baby thats part of me, someting that I created and can look after. My fiance and I have been together for 3 and half years. Do you really think I should wait? Financially, it would be better if I waited a couple more years (1/2). What do you think?

He sleeps in his swing everynight and it's the only place he will sleep. My husband and I are starting to wonder if we continue to let him sleep in the swing, will it eventually curve his spine? i mean i am a teen and many of my friends are doing this every other day. why? i mean i think it is nasty so young. but why do people go on about it. i know they think they are all HOT SHOTS but still why do they have to go this far. even at high school parties this goes on. parties are supposed to fun and hanging out not drugs and sex. yes another thing is drugs. we do teens think they are cool from drugs. is it because they dont have no one to guide them, show them from right or wrong.
