He sleeps in his swing everynight and it's the only place he will sleep. My husband and I are starting to wonder if we continue to let him sleep in the swing, will it eventually curve his spine? I don't want to do anything to hurt my baby so if it will affect him i want to start working on getting him to sleep in his crib.

My sisters baby slept in a swing and she is okay. My daughter had colic and she slept in a swing and she is okay. But neither one of them slept in it every night. I don't think it has a affect on the spine, but you may want to get him to sleep in the crib before he outgrows the swing.

My youngest only slept in his car seat for the first two months of his life. It might be a hard habit to break, but I don't think it will curve his spine. Make sure the swing is where you are sleeping to.

OK for a nap, but I wouldn't let a baby a whole night in a swing...

you shouldn't let him sleep the entire night there, I don't think will curve his spine but sure will flat his head.
