I have been very parinoid about having a miscarriage because I was straining the opther night and have had some very mild cramping, I am 5 weeks and 1 day and my breast are very sore, would this be a good sign that the pregnancy is progressing and that my hormoines are rising?

If you are going to miscarry there is not much you can do to stop it. Cramping is normal during pregnancy. There is alot that is happening in there. Try not to stess yourself out about it as that could do more damage than the "straining" you did. I am sure everything will be just fine. Good luck!

No your not having a miscarriage . Cramping is normal . If this is your first child your breast will be more sore then normal . This is due to your breast getting ready to produce milk and it take more for first time moms due to you haven't produced milk before . Now if the cramping gets worse and you start to bleed then go to the doctor . Next time you go to the doctor just tell him you have been cramping and they might be able to give you something for it . I pregnatcy is not a seeled deal until your 3 months . the first 3 months are very critical and this is usually when you will have a miscarrge so do be careful . I know if you are really concerned about the cramping you can call your hospital or womens clinic and ask for a pb nurse and they will be more then happy to answer questions for you and ifthey think it is serious they will recommend calling your doctor asap .

symptoms don't have alot to do with how your pregnancy is progressing. some women have no symptoms at all and their pregnancies are totally normal. I would be more worried if the symptoms went away (although symptoms can come an go and thats normal too), you have spotting or bleeding, or severe cramping. If you are worried, don't be afraid to call your doctor. afterall, thats what they are there for. hth :)

I think cramping is kind of normal. I have cramps here and there. If you are really worried, just call your doctor and tell him/her about your worries and they'll get you in and check you out to make sure things are going well. But no more straining!

The soreness is normal--you will get huge--that in some folks is good-- :-) the cramping---that's not a good thing take it easy--don't start any activities that you are not currently doing--and ask your doc about this too--

breast tenderness is very common in pregnancy. whether or not it proves progression is another story. you should visit your ob just to be safe.

if you haven't had any severe blows to your abdominal region then i would say everything is okay. of course i'm not a doctor so if you're really concern i suggest you consult them.
