the bump looks almost like a blister. i'm not sure if maybe it's just scar tissue or if i should be concerned and call the ped. when they open.

Did they use the plastic bell method, or the gauze?
Does it look like a blister? It could be where the skin cells have accumulated, and simply haven't fallen off yet..For peace of mind, to make you feel better, you may want to call his pediatrician. But if it is not bothering him, I'm sure he will be just fine!
Many Blessings to your new baby!

well first of all, how old is he? is he a baby or toddler or older?
I got mines done at age 12 and also had bumps and scar tissues but over time it healed and i was Ok.. the lil curls and bumps actually became a plus as i got older if you know what i mean LOL.. but seriously it depends on the age of this son and also how big is the bump/blister....

May be your son is quite young and so does his tool. While operating, to avoid cutting the important sensory nerves, doctor would have left some skin untouched, which has healed and turned out to be a lump.

Though not serious, better to show it to the ped' and do the needful. If necessary, doctor may advise for another operation after a few years. cheer up!

well, how long ago did he get the "snip"?
if it was just within a day or so, then it's probably just healing. my son's looked so red and swollen for about 2 days and then just looked like it was healing.

i'd call the pediatrician to be sure it's not infected.

take care.

Getting circumcised itself is very wrong this has resulted in a keloid that is exordinary growth please check that this is not cancer because inert cancer cell would multiply immediately after they are tackled.
