I was 3cm dialated and 50% effaced for the last 2 weeks. Its been horrible. I've been thinking he'd be here any moment for the last two weeks! Just try and put it out of your head, keep walking and such, but there really is no way of telling. My due date is this Monday so just aim for your due date otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy.

There is no way to tell by that...but it certainly doesn't mean labor is imminent. At your next appt. if you are still the same you will know you are basically in a "stall" at that mode. If you have progress more then you will know that labor may come sooner. So being dilated early does not mean you will have labor on or before your due date. With #1 I did not dilate at all until labor...she was 12 days past due date, with #1 I was dilated from week 36 on and 2-3 cm and she was 8 days past due date. And #3 was dilated to 2-3 cm from week 35 on and went into labor 4 days past due date. With the 2 of those I was pretty well stalled at the 2-3 with no progression between weekly check ups.

love you should be in a labor ward by now.... if not already given birth to a healthy son. Rule of thumb babies pop out when they are ready. OBGYN/ delivery team should be monitoring you 24/7. May take a few minutes or a few days. Lots of xox / love from partner etc. Pain relive be a good idea. Best wishes for a pain free labor. 99

There's no way to tell. Usually, though, being dilated 2 cm. is a sign that you're moving in that direction. Babies don't follow schedules for their delivery, though, they like to surprise us! Congratulations on your sweetie.
