sick to my stomach and have been haveing back pain....i went to the doc today and she said i was lucky to be dialated to 1 and im still thick!! whats going on will i most likely go past my due date??...my body wont take muck more of this she also said that i have to go 2 weeks after my due date befor she will do antthing......what to do??

Pregnancy/weight?
I was wondering if anyone has weighed 200 pounds and still had a healthy baby, pregnancy and delivery...I know the chances of something going wrong are higher...i'm battling with pcos and my weight is up and down...but never over 200 pounds...the doctor tells me to keep trying for now...i do workout at least 4 days a week...

actually feels more like a dull throbbing/ache than stabbing period pain. Throbbing started 8 days prior to period due date (9th Jan) and still continues. Has anyone else felt these dull aches and tested either positive/negative? Many thanks for any reply. :)

I am currently in the proces of adopting a child from China. Recently, there has been a lot of debate regarding international adoption. A lot of people ask why I am adopting from another country when there are kids here that need to be adopted. I feel the system in the US is too hard to deal with and that the adoptive parents do not have as many rights as the birthmother. She can decide to not terminate parental rights at any time. It should be her perrogative, but I don't want to have a failed placement. That's why I've chosen international adoption. What's your opinion?

We are being evicted on Monday for not paying our December rent, when we have concrete proof that we paid it. I am so angry at the pastor of the church that owns the house as it is her sole decision to evict or not, and she is choosing to believe a corrupt rental company instead of 5 people she knows very well. I am pregnant and my husband and I have 2 young girls at home, that she told me on the phone this afternoon, will be expected to be out of the house on Monday by 12, which means on the streets. I hung up on her before I said something I regretted, now I wish I had said it. How can I get some of this anger off of my chest productively so that on Monday I can approach her and give her a piece of my mind without freaking out and flying off the handle?

I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I seen light pinkish blood. I started my period on December 24th and my cycle is usually 31 days long. I search around and every website I found it said different days for when you can have implantation bleeding it ranged from 5-14 days after conception. According to my monthlycycles.com I should be fertile around the 7th-11th. And today is the 12th. I am trying to have a baby so I was just wondering if you guys think this could be implantation bleeding or something else? I don't have any cramping or anything and it surprised me when I seen the blood. I am very regular, I get it on the same day same time every time.

Hubby and I have tried this month, but I'm not sure how much luck we'll have. I got PG first try with daughter. But this month my ovulation date (according to BBT chart) isn't really matching up with my CM (cervical mucus). Do I still have a good chance of being pregnant this cycle?

mentally abusive relationships...but are STILL with the guy because he threatens to take your kids away if your a stay home mom?
Iam and I haveno idea how to get out because my guy makes over 100,000 a year and me 0 as i stay home.
getting a job is not easy right now, becasue I get NO help in the finanacial end to get daycare..I need a way out without having a job, or advice that is USEFULL.

I am a stay at home mom to a year old baby.I have a relative that is always talking about picking my daughter up and taking her places without asking me if its ok with me. my friend stupidly slept with her ex on Dec 4, 2007. she is now saying that she is 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. is it possible that it is not her ex's child. i did the math and got Nov 28 as being 6 weeks and 2 days, and then went back another 4 days because it can take between 3-5 days after intercourse to become pregnant. so that puts her around nov 24, 2007 does this sound right, or should she be worried that it is her ex's child?

I recently had blood work done to check for birth defects, what's the chances that a chid will be born with a birth defect and is the test all ways right? also February or march I will be having another ultra sound will the gender of my baby be 100% sure by then?? at the church she is used to because they have proven 3 times to me now that they have no integrity or sincerity? I am going to give her the option of attending church with her aunt instead.

We rent a house from the church and the rental company is claiming we did not pay the rent for December, we have the proof that we did, but they are still evicting us on Monday. They have done this to two other families that I know of. I absolutely cannot justify sending my daughter to a church that would advocate kicking a pregnant woman, her two children and their father out in the middle of January, even when there is concrete proof that the rent was paid.

How do I broach the subject with her, without going into all the details?

My question was I'm 14 weeks and still not showing...
Some people mentioned "if I was overweight" or "If this is my first pregnancy..."

This is my first pregnancy, however I am 5'6 and 128 lbs, and very in shape. I am a pretty small person and that is why I would expect to be showing by now.

If any of you are about the same size, I wouldnt mind hearing when you started to show...

After unprotected sex with my bf I took this morning-after pill, I use the regular pill (nordette), I took 4 pills within 72 hours and another 4 pills 12 hours later. I am not sure about it really, I took it as how I understood from the result of my own research in the net about this contraception. After that, my next mense come too early. Any idea or comments on this?

my friend has a son that is 10 years old. he mistakenly some how found my friends playboy magazine and started asking questions like why does his mom have such things (boobs) and his dad doesn't and he also asked why is it that he and his brother both sleep on different beds but dad and mom sleep on the same bed. so i told my friend to say "because you're poor" did i do the right thing by telling the kid that my his father and mom and sleeping in same bed because they're poor?

Mr. Mom here, our 3 month old little girl currently sleeps in her swing because she needs the motion to get to sleep. We need to get her into her crib but need some help. She doesn't like the crib at all or any place other than her swing or bouncing chair. Is there any hope in site? She will soon out grow her swing and then were stuck up that creek people talk about. Whenever we try the crib she willl be fine for about 5 minutes then starts to go ballistic, she doesn't give up either. She will cry till we give in, settle her down and put her in the swing. We have gone as long as 4 hours and just can't take it. I don't want to hear her that unhappy and I don't think that we're teaching her anything but misery. Is there any hope? Any ideas?
