My son gets about four hours (more or less) worth of homework a week, including reading, math, spelling, family projects, etc. and I was just wondering if this is normal for a first grader....it's been so long since I was in first grade I really don't remember. I was just wondering if this is average for a first grader or if he was getting more or less than other first graders.

My period started on December 28th and was normal. During the evening yesterday (January 6th), I found some blood on my underwear when I went to the restroom and it got slightly heavier until about 3 in the morning. At first, it was pinkish, but then turned red as if it was my period. Today (January 7th), there was hardly any blood left. Whatever there was today was brownish, which I'm assuming means yesterday's blood dried in me and now was working its way out. Yesterday before I noticed the blood, I was playing roughly with my boyfriend which involved a lot of stretching. Initially, I thought maybe I stretched myself on the inside while playing, but I think I bled more than I should have; I bled a bit through my underwear. So why was I bleeding? Was it implantation bleeding? Could the blood be due to stress and lack of sleep? Also when I ovulate, I normally get cramps that alternate sides every month. I don't expect to ovulate until January 10 or 11 and I haven't had cramps yet.

a friend of mine is pregenant this is 4th month.and she is a diabetic and take insulin morning and night. The doctor has advised her not to take any fruits. Somebody can suggest what are the foods she take to the best growth baby. Any dietician or any doctor pl reply to my question.

I got my first period after my son was born at about 7 weeks. It has been 2 months since then and have not had my period again. I have read that breastfeeding can affect your period. I am breastfeeding more now than I was at the 7 week mark when I got my period. Is this normal when breastfeeding to not have a period even though I've already had one after the birth.

we messed around last night and im sure i had precum although she was on her period but not bleeding to much. her period ends tomorrow.
there was no penetration
just rubbing against her

I went to the ER today bc i was having tummy pain, well i had a UTI and im pregant, but when they went to see how far along i was it said 0 and the doctor said that meant i could be a week along. Im just so scared that it may be a cyst, but ive had cysts before and have never had a postive pregnancy test! Now im scared that im not pregnant. I know it takes like 3 weeks for the HCG to show up in the blood, so could i really just be a week pregant?? Or you think its just a cyst. I mean i have the sore tender breats and everything. Please Help!!

We have 3, yet everyone comments our middle will get "middle child syndrome", when we had 2 people said "are you having another, if ones gone the other will be lonely", and of course when we had one, people said, "you've got to have another, its mean to only have one!' Yet if we had four people would then comment how large our family would be! It seems you can't win!!! How many children would you like or have you had and are happy, as we are happy with our 3 (no matter what people say!!!)

After a year of TTC, my fiance and I are getting very worried. It has affected our lives tremendously. It's time to do something about it.
I would like to have a Hysterosalpingogram. (The procedure where they put dye into you to see if your fallopian tubes are blocked.)
I do have very good health insurance, (Blue Shield) but my question is... WILL MY INSURANCE COVER THIS?
Also, HOW CAN I GET THE REFERRAL TO HAVE IT DONE?

My son is 7 1/2 months old and for the past month and a half my sex drive is 0, but before that i wanted sex 24/7 is this normal? I'm not stressed about the baby waking or anything, i just find it strange before I couldn't get enough now I don't want any, and thats bad for my boyfriend :(

have you ever heard of income splitting...so that your partners splits his income and makes it look like you have earned money on your taxes...can this benefit us in buying a new home?
We have tried for a year so far and NO ONE wants to see us in a new home, because my husband is theone who works (trades) and I stay home with the kids...the shitty part is, they like to see 2 incomes coming in.
Another thing is I know I am not the only stay home mom, and I see couples like us living in these nice new homes...how do they do it???
And not all of them have great credit either?

Did I get pregnant, we are a turkey baster baby. And how does that whole artificial insemination thing work, you know with the sperm banks where the man ejaculates into a cup and then hands it to the nurse to freeze. I am assuming that the sperm hit the air.

Why do people insist on saying that sperm die when they hit the air? This is one of the many things wrong with teaching abstinence only.

i am 6 months pregnant and have lost my sex drive. unfortionantly, my boyfriend has not, he's still horney 24/7 (litterally). he doesnt make me, but if i dont, he gets really grumpy and moody. i try to keep him happy, and have sex twice a week. but thats still not enough for him, and too much for me.

and for anyone about to lecture about getting married, we will after the baby is born for the sake of insurance. trust me, we have it all planned out, so plz spare me of that lecture.

I HAVE 3 KIDS, 2 SON AGED 14 & 10. MY DAUGHTER IS THE YOUNGEST AND IS 8YRS OLD. I AM HAVING A SERIOUS PROB WITH MY SECOND SON. Hi! My daughter has a lot of friends who come over and stay until all hours of the evening. They come over without being invited and will bring their friends over. While I like the kids in small doses, having 6 to 10 kids here until 10 or later 5 out of 7 nights a week makes it difficult to get my 8 year old to sleep. I also cannot study with all the commotion going on. The kids swear at each other, make a mess in my house, and make it so that I cannot even sit down in the living room because they are taking up all of the seats. I'm also tired of the constant video games on the TV. I don't have the food to feed this many people either and I'm tired of cooking food and telling them I can't feed them.

I've tried asking them not to come over so much, but they just leave for a few hours and are right back the next day. I'd like some peace and quiet and to only see them in small doses.

one of my Granma's had 1 set of twins (my mum) plus another daughter and my other gran had 2 sets of twins (my dad was one of them) My mums younger sister has had 2 sets of twins.
None of the twins have had twins.

are chances of having twins higher coz they are in the family already or is it all just a fluke?

when your baby is kicking and you can feel him or her moving around? I am on my 4th pregnancy and for some reason instead of feeling all happy and wonderful that I can feel the baby move around, I instead get this vision of me incubating this little alien that is going to rip thru my abdomen and eat my face off.

Please realize that there is some sarcasm there, but really I am not getting the big oooh aaah wonderful feeling that I got the other times. 15 weeks and 3 days along right now, this is normal right?

My boyfriend and i started having sex in june. i found out i was pregnant in july, my midwife said my edd (estimated due date) was march 1st. now my widwife says its a couple weeks away because of my measurement. I had sex with another guy a month or more before my boyfriend. i had a peroid in may and spotted in june. is it more likely my bf's or the other guy?
