My boyfriend and i started having sex in june. i found out i was pregnant in july, my midwife said my edd (estimated due date) was march 1st. now my widwife says its a couple weeks away because of my measurement. I had sex with another guy a month or more before my boyfriend. i had a peroid in may and spotted in june. is it more likely my bf's or the other guy?

This confusion is part of the reason why many women get an ultrasound during their first trimester. It is extremely accurate in predicting your due date. Part of the problem with taking fundal height measurements is that they do not reflect the actual gestational age of the baby. During my pregnancy, I constantly measured 4 weeks ahead...and actually gave birth 10 days after my due date.

Without a first-trimester ultrasound, there is really no way of knowing an exact due date. It also poses problems like in your case where you had sex with different men. With more babies being born premature now than ever, you may not know until you give birth (based on whan you give birth and the size of the baby). Even this isn't a guarantee. Only a paternity test will be able to give you an absolute answer.

Hope this helps! =)

Well to me depending on when you had sex in may and when you spotted in June that could have been implantation bleeding. That would make sense if you never had a full period and would put you due in March. I'm assuming you have not told your boyfriend you slept with someone else? And didn't use protection with either guy? If you knew the exact dates it would have been easier to help you. If you aren't able to figure it out soon you need to inform both men asap and then have DNA testing done at birth. The real father has the right to know his child regardless if you are happy which man this is. Now you have a baby on the way and no one has the right to deprive the child of its natural parents. Best of Luck!

This is going by the due date you provided in your details.

Estimated date of conception: Thursday, June 8, 2006
End of 1st trimester (12 weeks): Thursday, August 17, 2006
End of 2nd trimester (27 weeks): Thursday, November 30, 2006
Estimated Due Date: March 1, 2007

It sounds 50/50. The best thing to do is to tell your boyfriend before the baby's born. I assume you would prefer your boyfriend to be the farther, but the other guy has right to know if its is baby. DNA testing is quick and easy now, plus I think they can even test before the baby is born.
Good Luck,
John
