The only answer I can give is that you do need to think long and hard because this IS the hardest thing you will do for your baby.
Just remember if you are choosing a very unusual first name, try to choose a more traditional middle name, so they can use that if they don't want to be called "Apple" when they start working at that law firm.
Try to make sure their initial aren't something like S.T.D. (we had a girl calles Vanessa Dickerson at school. You guess how cruel kids can be.)
Try not to tell anyone what names you have decided to use, because there will be someone, who will say "Gosh! Thats the stupidest name I have ever heard" and ruin what should be a fantastic moment (if you don't tell them The would have to be Very impolite to say something after the fact.)
and finally, practice yelling it down the hallway at home,If it doesn't sound right out loud then you should probably keep thinking!!
Good Luck!!
Ps its also worth saying be careful with unusual spelling, I have a girlfriend who when she meets someone she spells her name first!!

The only people that should choose the names of their baby are the parents....why ask people's opinions? It is YOUR child, nobody elses....we can't name your child, only you can do that
