Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 January 2007

I am 20 weeks and having terrible sinus problems. Besides the sinus pressure I have a lot of trouble swallowing. It feels like there is super glue in my throat and its hard to swallow. Dr said I can take sudafed.. which helps with the pressure.. but not the mucus.. any suggestions?

My son is 7 1/2 months old and he gets up in the morning and eats a bowl of cereal (1/4 cup baby cereal + water), then a hour later a 6-8 oz bottle, then for lunch, he has 1/2 bottle 8 month baby food (the big bottles), a yogurt cup or apple sauce cup, and about 10 Gerber finger food bits, an hour later he'll have a bottle, then as a snack a Farlee cookie, or some fresh fruit, for dinner he has different stuff but for example a bottle of 8 month baby food the meat ones, and some fruit for dessert,plus he has juice and water through out the day, but my doctor told me to feed him when ever he's hungry. But he is more active now, he's crawling adn walking around things....

What are some signs and symptoms of going into labor earlier than your expected due date? Mine is March 12th and i already feel twisting and turning in my vagina and some "downward" pressure....

I have a good chance of being pregnant since I have many symptoms and I will find out for sure tomorrow. (if I am, I am 4-5 weeks)
What concerns me is that I started bleeding lightly this morning after having intercourse. At first, it was very small amount and pink/light red blood. Then this afternoon, it started getting heavier (but still not heavy as normal period) and hasn't gone away. I also noticed that lower left abdomin and lower left side and back are aching pretty bad. when I wiped after using the bathroom, I noticed little pieces of tissues(i assume) on the toilet paper. I also had to go to bathroom for #2 for 3 times and the last one was diahhrea. Now I feel hungry and a little nauseous... and freaked out!
If I am pregnant, it wasn't planned but I wouldn't want to have a miscarriage. I am very scared that it might be miscarriage because I am experiencing pain and light bleeding with tissues. =( I was wondering if anyone has any idea what I might be going through?

To me, the definition of abuse is cut and dry. Knowingly hurting ANYONE on purpose is abusive. But for many people, children are the ONLY ONES, who don't count in this definition. So for these people, what defines abuse?

1. If a man slaps a women, intending her to do as he told her, is this abuse? 2. What if he doesn't leave marks? What if it is "only once" and he really loves her? Do any of these things change the reality of his actions?

Hi, I am not quite late for my period or anything, but I have been having symptoms of pregnancy and so I took a test toinight and it came back positive right away, like in one minute, but my problem is that back in november I had a chemical pregnancy, but it wasnt confirmed for sure, cuz the blood tests came back negative but my urine test at home kept coming back positive, then I took a couple more a week or so later and they were negative. Now a month later, Im having this be positive. So any ideas? Im just tired of getting let down by miscarriages and chemical pregnacies.

I started using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor recently. I started it on December 17th, the first day of my period and my first test was done on the 22nd. It read only one bar. From the 23rd, up until this morning, it has read 2 bars every single day. It has not detected peak fertility. Does anyone know why it could be reading high fertility for 16 days in a row? Maybe I am doing something wrong? Thanks so much for your responses.

I had miscarriage a little over 2 weeks ago and my level went back 2 zero and home pregnancy tests read negative afterwards so it all ended like it was supposed to. I also lost all pregnancy syptoms I was only 6 weeks along.
