Me and my hubby are due our first baby in April and we are both pretty clueless about babies, so I am after a book that gives the basics about looking after a baby.

I stopped the pill 4 weeks ago.Almost five.My bf and i have had unprotected sex ever since.I was suppose to start my period 4 days ago.I know it could be becuase of the pill,but what are the chances?
My nipples are really sensitive,not sore if not touched.I have been going to the loo more frequently.I know its signs of pregnancy,but dont want to get my hopes up.
Should i do a test now,or wait till the end of the week?

When I was 18 I had a full term stillbirth, I then went on to have 3 succesful pregnancies , the last being only 3 years ago. Now at the age of 39 I have found I am pregnant again . Pregnance wouldnt be good financially, socially but morally because of stillbirth feel wrong about abortion.

My boyfriend Jake does not think that he wants a baby boy right now. But I am 110% sure that I want one. I told him yesterday that I was trying to have his baby for him. He told me that he will break up with me if I do not go back on the pill. WHAT DO I DO!?! Should I just tell him that I am back on, and hope that I get pregnant soon so I do not have to lie anymore or what. I know he does not really want to break up with me, and I know that he really does want a baby. I am 16 year old captain of the cheerleading squad. I will get a baby.

me and my fiancee are trying for a baby, i had my last period on december 7th 2006 and am still waiting to come on, all tests i have done are negative. What do you think the chances are i could be pregnant? My cycle is normally 27 days so i am quite late....

We have picked out a name for our baby boy, however, when it comes to a girl name, no matter what we find we cannot agree. i was looking for some outside suggestions to help out if possible. i am willing to undertake anything in order to raise capital so i can continue my battle to see my daughter, to whom i have contact via a court order, which her mother and new husband have now chosen to breach. i cannot afford to go back to court having piad once, which has taken me to the brink. so if anyone anywhere needs ANYTHING doing, please feel free to reply, and i do mean anything, my daughter is v v important to me. thank you

I am a fist time mum who doesn't want to feed her baby out of a can and i am not sure on what foods i can and can't feed him so if you have any good baby food recopies that would be a great help also if you know how long you can keep them in the freezer?

Im due with my second child, a boy, in May and i feel nothing for it.
I have never wanted a boy. Since i was young ive always had to deal with the emotional crap of having been sexualy assaulted by my brother and i fear that by haveing a boy and a girl it could happen to her. Im scared to have this baby and i dont no what to do!!

When I had our daughter in April of '05 her father (now my husband) didn't want to be a part of our lives because he wanted to finish college and live his life. He isn't even on the birth certificate, yet. A month later he changed his mind, moved in with us and a few months later we got engaged. We are married now and I have his last name but she doesn't! I don't know how I would go about doing this. We went to our county courthouse but they didn't know what they were talking about and just gave us a paper to fill out to get a COPY of her birth certificate! I called back later and someone told me that I would get a paper that I'd need to fill out once our marriage certificate came and I could change her last name that way. Well, our marriage certificate came a LONG time ago and I got no such paper. I'm getting pretty frusterated!

My question is: How do I go about giving my daughter her father's last name when he isn't on the birth certificate yet?? Thank you so much for your help!

My son is 11 and very immature and innocent for his age. He's got ADd, ODD, low self esteem and behavioral problems that get worse at school. He cries at night because he doesn't want to go to school because the other kids hate him and always pick him last for sports. I am on birth control and taking it faihtfully, me and my boyfriend dont use condoms while having sex, we have been together for a a while now and plan on getting married. i thought i was pregnant i had all of the symptoms, i took one pregnancy test and it came up positive, then about 3 days later i took another but it was negative, and i believe i got my period but my flow was a little lighter then usaul, do you think its possible i could be pregnant?

My daughter is a good hearted kid I think. She is 14 years old and gets upset about everything. She was skipping a class at school. She has a nasty attitude toward her sisters. She is really loud and and to me does not take life seriously. She acts like a 5 year old. When I talk to her it has a affect for a few days then she is back to her old self. She doesn't even want to do her hair or keep clean and act like a young lady. What can I do I need any one's advice me and dad are stressing about her present and future.
