the best thing to to is to buy ovulation test kits so then you will know for sure, also you can tell by other things such as you temperature goes up slightly and you vaginal mucus goes clear and stringy.

Use an ovulation predicter kit. When you are getting an LH surge the stick will turn color. These are just bits of treated paper/plastic strips that you pee on every day until they change color. You can get them at Wal-mart or any pharmacy. It is usually a few days to almost a week after your period ends. You need to chart your periods and once you know the length then it is easier to guess because its almost half of the time. For example....you count the first day of your period as 1 until the day of the next period beginning. If it is say 25 days then you will probably ovulate between the 10th and 14th day....usually the 12. If it is 28 then probably on the 14th. This is if you are regular and remember just because you are having a period does not mean that you ovulate correctly, many women have hormone issues (Not enough lutenizing hormone or other hormones) or don't pass an egg. Also a 28 day period is an average and those women are very rare people, most women are often a few days under that or over. Chart your periods and you will start to see a pattern. Good Luck! FYI- I have had some infertility issues so believe me this type of info gets drummed in your head, it is amazing to me that many, MANY women are ignorant of their own biology. Also having two periods a month is something that you should discuss with your OB/GYN, you may need blood work to determine if any hormones are out of whack...good luck again.

Even if your periods were regular, it would be hard to say. The idea that every woman is most fertile 14 days after her period is just an average. Some women ovulate earlier or later in their cycle.
And if you are really that irregular, it is impossible to say with any accuracy. Did you notice any signs (change in discharge etc)? That would be the best way of telling.

You would have been most fertile around the 25th 26th and 27th Dec but this is based on a normal 28 day cycle.
www.babyzone.com has an ovulation calendar which will help you track your fertile days. Just fill it out and it will pop up on your computer each time you switch it on. Worked for me i had a baby girl on the 6th Dec!!!!! GOOD LUCK

First off, you need to keep a diary to track your dates and the actual length of your periods on a regular basis.

The 1st site can calculate the most fertile date for you, but you also need to input your cycle length.

The other gives you a very good idea on how to know when you are fertile by your own body changes.

Hope this helps.

Being irregular makes this hard because you can't count 2 weeks after the start of your last period because it isn't always 28 days between cycles. You're best bet is to buy ovulation kits.

Or just do it a lot. ;)

This is the most easiest way of keeping track of this.
Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and just put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus it keeps track of your periods. It is a free and very helpful site to use.
Good luck

you have to know the days in between your periods.... the days in between the end of you period and the beginning of you next period is called your cycle-although many mistake the term cycle as the days they are on their period it is not- anyways.... say you have a 28 day cycle you most likely ovulate the 14th 15th 16th and 17th day of your cycle (not the month, your CYCLE)

the best time to conceive is 2 weeks before your next period as that is when your eggs are getting released ready into the tube to be fertilised, once they reach the end of the tube and there was no sperm in them thats when you have a period as your getting rid of the unwanted eggs.
