in my first pregnancy i was spotting and i asked all my friends mums and my own mum and any mums i knew, everyone told me "dont worry its normal" so i left it for 2 days then it started to get redder and thicker and really very painfull i went to the hospital as the pain was unbearable and after 2 and 1/2 days of emotional and physical pain i found out i miscarriage. its your choice as its your baby inside you but i would say to definitely go see the doctor ASAP!!!!!!
i hope all is OK and you never know you may be fine but isnt it better to be safe than sorry?

10-14 days after conception, there can be a few drops of blood as the tiny blastocyst implants in the uterus. Some women don't even notice it.
Later in pregnancy, after the 14th week, blood can be a sign of placenta praevia or placenta abruptia.
Blood in a healthy pregnancy is not normal, but it happens. The best thing you can do is just lie down and take it easy. It might be nothing.
If you are going to have a miscarriage, there is really nothing you can do to prevent it. It is estimated that about 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage, most before the 6th week and the greater majority before the 8th week.
If the blood gets heavy, you start cramping or experience pain, you must go to the hospital to guard against hemorrage and to protect your future fertility.
If the spotting stops, you have nothing to worry about at all.

Spotting can be normal in early pregnancy but you could also be going to have a miscarriage. If you have started to have abdominal discomfort as well it may not be a good sign.See how you go over the next 12-24 hours then get it checked out if it persists or gets worse. For your own peace of mind call your Dr or midwife now & see what they say.

Depends on how early. You should go to the doctor. I had it in my third trimester and it was very serious. Some people have a whole period after getting pregnant though. If you have any pain or fever at all though go directly to the emergency room. Also you can call any obgyn and they can instruct you over the phone. Good luck and best wishes

Yes, it is. After sex especially. This could be implantation bleeding that occurs when the fertilized egg implants to the uterus. If this continues or worsens make sure you inform your doctor, but spotting in pregnancy is very common and probably nothing to worry about.
