I think a sweet way to tell him would be to buy a Valentine's Day card for him from the baby. They have cards for the wife, husband, son, daughter, etc. You can shop around for a card from a child to a father and sign "Baby" inside the card. I think that would be sweet since Valentine's Day is coming up. I found out I was pregnant right before Father's Day last year and that is how I wanted to tell my husband that I was pregnant, but he found out that I was pregnant before I did because I didn't read the results on the home pregnancy test correctly and I told him I wasn't pregnant. He took the test from me and said, "Baby, this reads positive! You didn't read it right!" haha Congrats and I hope everything works out wonderfully!

One of my friends had such an adorable idea, and I really wish I had done it as well, but I was too excited and illogical that I told my fiancee over the phone --while he was out of town for a week! I missed out on seeing his facial expressions and wrapping him up in my arms. But I've digressed: My friend had cooked a nice romantic dinner for her husband and set up the bedroom for a nice rendezvous afterwards. She had on cute pink lingerie and had written on her stomach with washable marker, "Hi Daddy! Please don't hurt me --I'm only 5 weeks old."

Say: "Honey, did you know that infants and toddlers are harmed by more than 10 hours of separation a week from their moms? Thought you'd like to know, cause you'll want to be all psyched up for supporting us and making sure your child gets what she needs most in life: her mother's milk, her mother's arms, her mother's time. Your gonna be a great dad and with your help and support, I'm gonna be a great mom."
