Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 December 2006

ok so im 17 years old, currently an exchange student in Europe, and this past weekend i lost it to a guy that ive been with for most of my exchange, we're really close and therefore have talked about birth control (i can't get the pill here) wat we would do if i became pregnant, ect. however this weekend we had been fooling around for a few hours and i pulled him into anotherr room, (decreased chances of being walked in on) and before i knew it he had pushed in without the condom, he stayed in for no more than a couple minutes, (the first time wasn't painfull so i wasn't exactly eager for him to get out) he came nowhere close to coming (it can honestly take him up to a couple hours to come) but ive done my research and know about pre-*** and such, so my question is, wat are my risks of being pregnant? i would really like advice from people on medical professions, or people that this has happened to before, oh and one last thing my periods are generaly regular, and im due for it Jan 1

I took the morning after pill(see my q on side effects) I have just found out I am pregnant. I don't know what to do.I can't go through with it i have one child already and i'm 23. I can't tell my parents. The thing is my mum is a midwife so she could find out if I have a termination what to do??

His mom and I divorced when he was two and despite having joint custody and seeing him all the time, he doesn't want to stay over at least one night on the weekends I have him. He has his own room and his own bed but it never gets used.

I need a few ideas on what to get for my Godson for Christmas. His birthday was just about a month ago and I got him a ton of toys and stuff, but I don't know what I should do now. I'm not sold on the clothes idea because he'll outgrow them so fast, and I started a savings bond for him when he was born, so I'm all out of ideas.

I'm signed up with MyMonthlyCycles.com but to access the fertility package you need to subscribe, however since it's an American site the fees are in US Dollars and my UK credit cards won't be accepted. I have a cousin and I want to name a future daughter after her. her name is Ka'Marie but I want to name the child Kay Marie or Kiara Marie. Is this way too similar or not? If so , what is a better name that still is a name that could be used to name the child after my cousin.

I had some light bleeding for two or three days this month, but no actual period. I should have started the 15th, but since the 18th I have bled, but very lightly. Just enough to notice when I use the restroom, not enough to show up on a pad. For the past couple of days at times I feel nausea, but its only for a few minutes. I have gas, my face is breaking out, and I've gained a pound in two or three days. Seldom, but once in a while my beak with dully ache. At times I have stomach cramps (which very well may be from the gas), and I have been very moody for the past week or so. I took a pregnancy test the 14th, neg. and I took one last night neg.. I'm am gonna make an appointment to have a blood test done, but do any of you think this may be signs of pregnancy? My husband and I have been trying for three or four months....

I often feel bad because when I get upset with my six year old son, who mouths, doesn't listen, laziness ect.Lack of respect upsets me the most.I try not to spank, I would much rather not. Any parents have any suggestions?
I try to lecture, and talk.But other days I get so frusterated I end yelling and I worry that it is not good for him. I don't want him to disrespect me or other adults. iwant him to beable to freely express his feelings but not in such a disrespectful way.

the past two nights i have had dreams that i am pregnant. in the first dream i have just found out, and i am only a few weeks along, and am trying to figure out how to tell my boyfriend. i go to see him and he is holding a baby, but when i try to hold her she is too heavy.
last night i had a dream that i was really worried that i was pregnant, but just wasn't 100% sure.
do pregnancy dreams necessarily mean that you are pregnant, or could they mean something entirely different? has anyone ever had similar dreams BEFORE they found out they were pregnant, and then they turned out to be??

Hi, I'm probably being paranoid about this...
I recently ordered red salmon caviar (it was fresh) and ate about 2 tablespoons of it. Then I thought maybe I'm not suppose to be eating this while pregnant.. So I checked online, and found few sites that suggested not to eat unpasteurized caviar due to listeria . The one I ate was unpasteurized.
How bad is this? Does all unpaseurized food contains listeria? if not, how possible it is for me to get listeriosis?

In my school most of the African American kids seem to have a family in school (not saying the Caucasians dont but I see more African americans doing this). Like for me, my big sister is a year older and if I am not doing what I am supposed to be she iwll confrotn me about it and then do somethign about it. Her sister is my other big sister and she does the same thing. I do the same thing for my little Brother Chris and my othe big sister T. I know must of the highschoolers and if they fidn out I am doign something they will take control to make sure I am doign what I am supposed to do.

Do kids near you do that? Why do you think they ddo that? Is there a purpose for these kids? Why do you think so?


My purpose: I get off track and need people to help me sometimes and who better than the people who I think of as my siblings?

The only place I can put it is in a room Im hardly in and I dont want to leave her in there alone. Is there a way I can hang it in another doorway that doesnt have a frame? Im in that room most of the day and I want her in there with me so I can watch her.
