Is it okay for me to have another baby shower? I have a 3 year old. When I was pregnant with him I had a baby shower(my mIl threw it for me) and now am pregnant again with my 2nd. There is talk of throwing me another baby shower and registering again.
I said "no" it isn't appropriate for either. Is this right? I thought that I am suppose to have only 1 baby shower and 1 time registering. I don't want to be put in a position of feeling uncomfortable by someone throwing me another shower if it isn't the right thing to do. I don't want people to talk and say...ohh can you imagine she is having another shower.
What is the right thing to do? or not to do?

My first reaction was to want to take back his Christmas presents :) Seriously, we are really struggling to find a consequence that will actually have an impact on him. We often struggle with either being too hard or too easy on him.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and in the morning I have no appetite..just a very slight nausea...is it dangerous for my body if I dont eat...the fetus needs to grow...WHAT DO I DO??? its 12 oclack now and i didnt eat anything yet! Any advice?? thanks

My husband and I want to try and have a baby in the new year. My husband is a health nut and he's on all sorts of vitamins and supplements and some of them include Enzyte (just to name one) would it hurt our chances since he's taking vitamins and supplements? Will the fluid somehow harm the baby? Besides me getting a bladder infection ( and i shouldnt really cuz i mostly drink water all day long) what else could holding it do to my baby? I hope the fluid isnt toxic enough to hurt the baby cuz i dont get a chance to get up much from my desk, and i was wondering if this could cause a potential threat to my baby. thanks for ur answers.

I'm not pregnant (had blood test), not newly off any medications, and have not breastfed in 9 months. Why are my breasts not only lactating, but aching? At first I thought it was because I was going to get my period since it started 2 weeks before my period, well now that's done and it's still there. I took a pregnancy test the day after my period was late and several since then all came back positive but I am going on my eighth week and I still have no signs that I am pregnant. Is something wrong, has this happened to anyone else, will my baby still be healthy?

We are having our first son in Jan. and are having some problems coming up with the perfect name. we have it narrowed down to like 5 or something. first there is Rylan Michael, i don't know, i like it because it is different, but it might be to girly. Then we have Karsten Michael, Wyatt Michael, Eastyn Micheal and Hayden Michael. as you can see we have the middle name, it is just the first name that we can not figure out. Please let me know what everyone thinks and maybe we will name him the one with themost votes. Thanks for your help!

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant and wake aup a lot of times in the night with my hips hurting and the right side of my lower back in very bad pain. Occasionally during the day if i have to pee really bad or have been sitting or standing for a long time my back will hurt in that same spot. The only relief is to walk. Does anyone else have this and does anyone know of a good website that gives pictures of where your sciatic nerve is so I can see if that is where my pain is occuring?

My 17 month old has been taking her diapers off for almost a year. She figured out early on how to remove the tabs, and when she's wet or messy, off come the pants and the diaper! Last week I caught her trying to take her diaper off with her pants on! We've tried duct tape, which she also learned to remove, and I try to keep her in pants for her naps, but when she wakes up, she takes them off. I'm considering starting to potty train, but is it too young? She's not in a toddler bed yet, she won't stay put, should I wait until she makes that switch? Is it possible to potty train while still in the crib? Help, please!
