Ok well My b/f and I had sex a lot this past month and I was suppose to start my period last Saturday. And I'm never late. But I've takin 2 pregnancy test [one on saturday and the other on monday] and they both say negitive. But I told him that and he is still freaking out and I don't want him to because he has finals to do and he needs to do good. Even if I might be [which I dout, I think I was just stressed, I told him that too] I don't want him to worry about it. How can I convince him I'm not???

I saw my doc on the 12th day of my cycle. In the scan he saw a follicle, which was about to burst (he said its 26 and should burst at 28 or so). My doc said that I should ovulate in a day or two. I monitored it through ovulation kit. I didn't get the positive results. I went to see yesterday (20th day of my cycle) and he said I did ovulate. Is it normal that ovulation kit does not pick this? Please advise. Thanks!

I have 2 children aged 1 and 2. I have a very low income and find it hard to save more than £20 a week without us all going without.. I am totally skint! I have brought them a bike/trike each and many other little bits! But according to the babysitter i should spend every bit of spare money on them, after my weekly bills are paid, i have £50 left to get food, nappies and clothe us with. It is not possible to buy anything else. Of course i want whats best for my kids, but until i get a better job, im stuck....should i just listen to her run on or tell her to drop it, i cant fall out with her cuz shes the only person i have to babysit when im at work and she has helped me out a lot! I jest feel like such a bad mum coz of what she says. What should i do??

my son is 2.5months old now.
we intend to start solid food by around the 5th month.

what should i start with and how should it be scheduled?


i havent bottle fed him anything.experienced people have told me its better to feed him once in a while with a bottle so that it will help when we go out with the baby. what shud i give him to be bottle fed. will it be possible for him to eat if i spoon feed him rite from the start.

i am exclusively breast feeding him and plan to continue it as his main food till his one year.
ive read that its always better to start with solid food after 6months.i just wanted to.....like..... just giv food very lightly for the first few months as i want to keep breast feding as his main food till at least one year.
please help me.i know many will discourage giving soild food before 6months but please give me your suggestions.

Just curious if anyone started having any symptoms shortly after they conceived about like about how long after?? What were the symptoms? Did anyone have symptoms a few days after and just know they were pregnant and ended up being right?

Im 40 weeks pregnant and my baby wont stop moving it is doin some big movements that hurt. I have had groin ache since 4 weeks ago and lost my mucus plug 3 or 4 days ago. Nothing is happening and i am having no braxton hicks now. Im so fed up and dont know if its gonna drag on and on or if labour can just start up out of the blue anytime.

help me please im getting very depressed

me and my partner have been trying for a baby for about 3 months now, had no luck. This monthi havent got nesigns of pains in my breastsor nething, but i have sicky feelings etcc, i am due on my period saturday normally on the evening, but i was extremely upset when i went the loo yesterday evenin to be bleeding, not in my knickers just when i wiped myself, i thought nufin of it and just put a liner on and some went on that to, so i thought i must deff have come on my period and put a tampon in, i woke up this morning took tampon out (which wasnt full but did hve blood on) and now i aint bleeding again.

I have also been suffering with thrush, which i think seems to be curing itselves.
If nebody else has had nething like this would love to hear from you.

Yesterday 3pm took a superdrug home hpt could see a very very faint line hardly noticable atall so i just threw it out when finnished my shift at 8 the line was dark blue....?So woke up this morning did another same brand and again the ghostly line was there or i really think its there with time it has again got darker not as dark as lastnight but darker?whats your opinion?

Well, Christmas is almost here, so I should get off my lazy bum and go fight the masses to buy some cheap gifts for my bratty lot.

Anyway, my oldest son likes makeup and pretty dresses, my middle daughter is into that whole *Pro-Feminimsim* deal, and my little baby girl loves to play with knives. My step-daughter hates me, and I hate her, so what should I get that monster? And my other son is into girls, sex, and porn.

So what should I get these kids, to shut them up until next year?

What do you think about babies with pierced ears? One of my friends got her daughters ears pierced at a few months old. I didn't say anything as I didn't want to get into an argument wih her but part of me was thinking how could you? I don't think babies are fashion accessories. I have a hard enough time watching my sons having their vaccinations, I couldn't put my baby through completely UNNECESSARY pain. I know for some people, it's a cultural thing but what about those who do it just for the sake of it? Babies will grow into toddlers who are so accident prone it's unbelievable. If there's something to pull, they'll pull it, something they're not allowed to do, they'll make it their job to do it anyway. Why do people do this to the children they're supposed to protect? Just seems ludicrous to me. My friend said her daughter never cried but she didn't know that beforehand, she took a risk. Before anyone asks, yes I have several piercings of my own so i'm not anti-piercings.

A few months ago i was going out with this girl, we never had sex but we did do other things. We broke up a few months ago and she is going out with this other guy now. She has not done any thing with this guy. She has not had her period in 3 months. I feel worried that she might be pregnant but i really cant see how she could be. Her period has been unregular before but only by a week or so. Does any one know any thing that could make this not seem like a pregnancy??

I took him to doctors 2 days after vaccination as he seems to be in pain,crying all day and just wanting mummy cuddles,is it normal to last a week?
the doctor seemed to think i was overreacting as he said just keep going with panadol, i even asked the chemist who said the same thing.
He is eating and drinking well

HELP!! We're not having a baby yet, but we're working on it. I want his initials to be the same as his father's (if it's a boy). His middle name will be Emmanuel because that's the father's name... Our four-week-old baby seems to have caught his mummy's cold and so he is not sleeping well when he gets stuffed up, and it seems to get worse at night and when he cries. Is there anything we can do to help him sleep and relieve his congestion? Apart from his cold he seems well enough and is eating well.
