We are having our first son in Jan. and are having some problems coming up with the perfect name. we have it narrowed down to like 5 or something. first there is Rylan Michael, i don't know, i like it because it is different, but it might be to girly. Then we have Karsten Michael, Wyatt Michael, Eastyn Micheal and Hayden Michael. as you can see we have the middle name, it is just the first name that we can not figure out. Please let me know what everyone thinks and maybe we will name him the one with themost votes. Thanks for your help!

Personally I think Rylan and Karsten sound girly. My favorite is Hayden Michael. Wyatt I don't like Eastyn is ok. I really like Hayden though. Very unique and very cute. Sounds good with Michael too. I would choose that one.

How about I rank them? I like Wyatt, but I know my husband would never go for a name like that. Hayden is good. I know that here in canada, Aiden and Jaden are on the list of 100 most popular right now and those are really similar. (my son's name is Jayden). Actually, I'm not sure if i like Eastyn or Rylan more, I don't know about the l in there. Ryan sounds normal, but Rylan is DIFFERENT. I don't know if it's good or bad yet. Rylan or Wyatt. I really dislike the other ones. Karsten, Eastyn, and Hayden all sound girly to me, especially with the Y's. Easton would be better, or Haidon, or Karsen. For that matter, try Rilan or Wiatt. Why the Y obsession? When I see a Y in a boy sounding name, I immediately think girl (Taylor, Jaymie). Kill the y! If you spell like I did, I like Karsen best.

Rylan Michael - are you sure Rylan is a real name? If it is, it's so so.
Karsten Michael - I like this a lot.
Wyatt Michael - waaaay too trendy. He's going to be surrounded by Wyatts.
Eastyn Micheal - this name is spelled Easton. I like it if spelled correctly.
Hayden Michael - Hayden and the 7 other names that rhyme with it are so overexposed that it would be an absolutely cliche. There are even more Haydens than Wyatts.

Rylan Micheal sound like a perfectly good name. It does not sound girly it does sound original and I as a man think it is a very nice name.
If however he is teased make him understand it is the people teasing who have the problem and make him proud of who he is, it does not matter too much what a persons name is when it comes to teasing the bully kids will find something to pick on your son about. Unless he is the bully or one of the cool kids.
When it comes to making fun of names kids try to rhyme something. The only rhyme I can think of is Smiling Rylan, and that sounds pretty damm good to me.

Personally, I don't like any of the first names you have. They all seem kinda odd. Why don't you just call the kid Michael, and forget about the other names?
