I have a low white blood cell count during pregnancy. What does this entail?

I am pregnant and the doctor told me i have a low white blood cell count but did not explain. can anyone shead some light on this?

is the low white blood count lower than the low normal? if yes, then it needs to be investigated. it may mean that you are immunosuppresed. the comonest cause of which HIV infection. there are other less common causes too.
check with your doctor if you are immunosuppresed, or if you are just having low normal white counts. good luck.
