It doesn't mean right after birth. I spent hours in the labour ward, without food and drinks. After the "hard work" I need to quench my thirst desperately. But my mom cut down my fluid intake. She said I might have bulging belly. I had swedish message for my post-natal. Family also stagered me from having any cold drinks. I really miss my chilled cola. Can't take it and need to obey the rules thru out my confinment. So...is it that bad?

my 2 years old daughter put any thing from the road side into her mouth. i am worried about the germs that has accumulated in her stomach by eating un- hygienic things. These germs may have ill affect to her health and well being . How to get rid of these germs???

Ok so for the past 2 weeks I've been having pregnancy symptons like being really tired and going to the bathroom a lot plus feeling like I want to throw up. Well I'm now on my period and was wondering if I could still be pregnant since I'm still tired a lot. My husband is afraid that maybe we might have accidently killed the baby by having sex and I told him the baby's protected from that. I've been moving really slow when I walk and when I do things around the house in order to protect the baby. And now I feel bad that my husband spent $140.00 on food I'd need to eat if I'm pregnant. So is there still a possibility that I didnt't lose the baby and am still pregnant just for whatever weird reason having my period and how long would a blood test take. Sorry for the details.

OK here it is exactly 1 year ago my ex and i had an abortion. She knew that i didnt want to have the abortion and own up t what has happened. And yea i wanted to marry her. But she decided to do it any. Her reason later for doing it was that she was almost molested and didnt want that to happen to her child. (personally i feel that, that was a selfish reason). But now i have one with someone else that she is due any day now. The thing is i am finding it really hard to have the same love for this child like i did for the other child. And the emotional strain of what happens becomes more evident the closer to delevery that we get to. I talked to her and she said that she would keep the child of her boyfreind if she got pregnant. But she barely knows him compared to me when we were together all 4 years of college. And i dont want her to get rid of it if she does. I just want to be there for my child but i feel as if this situation is holding me back. i want to be there for my child & cant

Ok, Lastnight I was having contractions every 5mins as well as lots of pressure and some back pain; everyone told me to go to the hospital right away, they checked me and said i am dilating but nothing has really happend with my cervix yet and they sent me home! Im 39 wks and very frustrated, i lost my mucus plug 2 wks ago. what does all this mean?? oh and this is my second pregnancy

Yesterday I saw a girl in a store about three years old. IT was noon and she was still in obvious pajammas with her hair unkept and food stains on her face. When the fat worthless mother dragged this kid out to the car she put her in the front seat with no belt on and lit a smoke before driving away. In your mind... is this child abuse? Should we be giving this fat whore of a mother a state aid card to buy her groceries at caseys and ruin this child... probably have another soon too? Am I wrong for wanting to kill the woman and do the kid a favor?

My wife had a sonogram done thursday because she is supposed to be eleven weeks along according to her lmp. Well the sonogram said she is only six weeks 4 days and they could not find a heart beat. Could the dates be off and she really is only 6 weeks four days? And is that too soon sometimes to hear or see a heart beat yet? Has anyone else experienced anything similiar? Her cycles are incredibly irregular...could that cause her to be 5 weeks off on the dates?

He is doing an awesome job going potty. When he has to go he will take off his diaper and go but when I put boxer briefs on him and pants he just goes in his pants. I dont get it because like I said he will take his diaper off to go but not clothes? Any advice?

Woman only with experience...I miscarried last saturday at 6 weeks...just after hearing a healthy heartbeat on an ultrasound the day before....just had my d &c yesterday and lying in bed doing some research... how many of you have go onto have a successful pregnancy?? I am scared that I will miscarry again... we are in the healing process.... and havent decided when to start trying and to help me, I just want to know how many woman were able to concieve after first miscarriage and have a healthy prregnancy... my mom had a miscarriage in the middle of having children.... Why do people try to say that a fetus is not a baby until it is born?
Then why do people ask you questons like
-when is you BABY due?
-how is BABY doing?
and other things like that.

I know a person starts off as a goup of cells that split and split, but when it developes a heart beat and thoughts and it moves and kicks around, which is early in pregnancy, then isn't more "human" than some comatose people?

People who have abortions, they wouldn't want to be ripped limb for limb, would they?

Don't get me wrong, I can understand abortions when a mother's life is in danger, and in some rape cases. I just don't believe that people should just have the option to whore around and have abortions every month.

I think if abortions are going to be allowed you should only be allowed one in your life. Then you would have to petition for an abortion. If the baby caused harm to you or if was raped then you would get one.

Your body may be you's but isn't a babies body it's own?

My daughter has blueish gray lips and has been fighting an upper respitary infection for two weeks. She is tube feed and last night she vomited her whole feed. She has not been eating nothing now for a week. Shes not a big eater to begin with but now she totally stopped. My family thinks im just over reacting Could something be wrong?

Ok, came off the pill (trying for baby) in oct 10th came on 2 days later. Waited 39 days (22nd nov to come on) did a hpt during that time, and it came back negative.

I have had for the last two weeks sore breasts, now in the last few days the soreness has gone. I havent had any period pains.

If i stay in the 39 day cycle now i am not due on till 31st december.

my question is, is it normal for tender breasts even though my period may not be due for another 2 weeks, and now the soreness has gone?
