Pregnancy & Parenting - 16 December 2006

My boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months, and we are really in love! I am 5 days late for my period, it was due near the 12th of december. The idea of having a child brings us great joy, but I am worried about miscarring. I became pregnant in 04 when I was married, and we are not sure what caused the loss, it was either a small car accident, a hormone imbalance, or my ex's drug use( the doctors felt this my have made it have deformities). My current mate, has gotten a couple of women pregnant, but they also miscarried, so I am really worried that if I am I will lose this one too! Other symptoms I am having of pregnancy inclued breast tenderness, lots of peeing, and god awful gas pains ( like I had the first time). Should I contact a doctor right a way or wate a few weeks? I am taking a prenatel vit. also

So just about 3 days ago my girlfriend told me she was pregnant. If i were to guess i would say she was about 4 weeks pregnant. And yesterday when we were having sex she started to bleed kind of alot. She said her blood was feeling kinda chunky. I talked to some ppl and they had said it was a miscarriage. So i wanted to buy her a pregnancy test again. Would that work or would you have to wait longer for hormones to rebalnce out again. Does it sound like a miscarriage. By the way i am taking her to see the doc tommrow. Some advice would. help.

I know that you are supposed to wait until you miss your period (and with some test as early as 4-5 before a missed period) but out of curiosity, has anyone out there actually found out they were pregnant before that? if so, how?

p.s. I do plan on waiting until i miss a period to test, but i am just curious.

I mean those devices like ultrasound and camera's that we find them in hospitals.
Did any one face probelm after using them?
should the pregnant women go ahead and try it without worry ?

I have had two pregnancy scans so far. One at 9 weeks because of abdominal pain and another routine dating scan at 11 weeks. Both have given different dates for the pregnancy. The second scan said I was a week further pregnant than what the first scan showed. I am very confused because I thought scans this early were supposed to be very accurate and that cant be so if one gives a due date of 18th June and the other gives a date of 11th June. Please help....thanks all.

first response (says you can test 5 days early), all negative. one done by a nurse on the 7th day missed. really scared. very stressed. as in shaking and cant even think about anything else and thinking myself into insanity. is there a huge chance these tests are all wrong?

i had pink spoting which was very light the day i was most furtlie after sex. and only had it the one time after i was wiping up. I have been told that it could have been from conception. but what does that mean?

i am ttc. we did not have rough sex. and we are both healthy. i have never had this before after sex. this is really confusing.

i stayed home with my 2 year old and recently started school and had to put him in daycare. he's never been sick or had any accidents the first week he had a bruise on his head now he has a nasty cough and runny nose thats constant its been a month and its still there. how can i treat this cough and prevent it. his physician says its normal and will go away but i was wondering how to work the phlem out?

ok my baby is 5 mos old now. when i was pregnant with him i got a pulmunary embelisim in my lung .i had to do heprin and lovanox shots in my stomach 2 times a day after he was born they told me not to have anymore kids because i got these 2 genes from mom and dad for blood cloting and it could kill me and baby i do not believe in abortion and nor does my husband i am only about 4-5 days if i am , but my abdominal muscles have really been hurting and cramping every since the night. My husband and i were having sex with a condom well i guess i pulled the condom off of his penis because it was hanging out of me and he got off but there was nothing in the condom please help me ?

i own 51 rental houses,1088 acre farm,6 stores.i pay a hell of a lot in taxes and it doesn't bother me one bit to support government programs that help people who have less.as a matter of fact it ticks me off that government keeps cutting back on these programs while giving themselves raises.
why does it bother you to help others.if one person who truly needs medical care or food gets it,then i could less about the two who screw the system.it's the government that waste the money,not the single mother who needs help,or the elderly person who needs to go to the doctor or buy medicine.what good is money if your neighbor goes without?

i use cloth diapers for my 2month old son. but he wets it regularly at nite and wakes up in between. do u think its okay if i use disposible diapers for him at nights. will it cause rashes for him and i ve heard that its not good to use these disposible diapers very often as it will reduce fresh air circulation. i do use it at times when we go out somewhere.please help me out.
