Unless you've got a serious virus or bacterial infection, your body's natural defenses should keep microbes well away from the baby.
When in doubt, check with your physician.

Woman!! I am 4 months pregnant and I've been sick for the past two weeks... cough, sinus infection, congested. My doctor prescribed tylenol cold (day). Call your doc and ask what's the best for you. No, your sickness will not affect your baby. He is well protected. I hope you feel better soon

The baby is alright. Just go see your doctor if you have trouble breathing, you don't want to cut off the baby's oxygen supply. And don't take any over the counter stuff unless approved by the doc.

No, im pregnant and just got over a cold, normally in the 2nd and third trimester, your obgyn can recommend some meds for you to take to help get over it. just call them and ask. your baby will be completely fine.

my mom had a cold when she was preggy with me. she just went to her doc and asked what kinds of meds she could take. i was fine and didn't get a cold. your tummy is the safest place for it right now, but talk to your doc before taking ANY meds.

nop... i had that also in the same week as yours... they will just give you a paracetamol and antibiotics that is not harmful to the baby and suggest that you take more fluids such as fruit juices and water. dont worry because it doesnt harm your baby and he/she is well protected :)
