I am due in 2 days and I have no action yet. If you are softening and thinning you are ahead of me!!!! Luck you to get some news of progression. The dropping of the baby doesn't always happen ahead of time, sometimes it is part of the labor process. I am on my third prgenancy, the first one didn't drop but the last two did. Maybe if it is your first it won't happen just yet. Good Luck!!!

Every pregnancy is different, even for the same woman it can be different. You'd be suprised of the difference 1 day can make when you're pregnant.

My first child dropped at about 37 weeks and for the remaining 3 I wished she hadn't.....although all the pressure on the cervix made it easier once delivery came.

On my 2nd child, I was 39 weeks and wondering the same thing you are. "Oh good heavens, he's never gonna come and he'll be 20 before he's born" Then I went to bed one night, woke up the next morning and he'd flipped around and got head down and once again, I was wishing this baby would get off my pelvic bones.

So.... consider yourself lucky! It's bad enough that you probably feel like you've got a bowling ball stuck inside your pants. Imagine having that bowling ball pushing down and feeling like it's gonna just fall out for the next 3 weeks. You lucky lucky lady!

I will be 37 weeks on Tuesday...at my appt Wednesday I was 0% effaced and 1 cm dilated....
Your progress depends on so many things....It's a long shot to pin point your delivery date..unless you are scheduled for an induction or c-section...
These last 3-4 weeks are the worst aren't they...Especially now that you ARE full term and it can be ANY day...what we wouldn't pay to know what that day is....The wait is the worse part of pregnancy...I guess that's why they call us expecting moms....lol..
