Stomach acid will kill all of it, there's nothing better that you could do for that. However, germs and such can enter through microscopic cuts in the mouth, hands, and nose. So. I'd stop the roadside walks, go somewhere natural like a park, practice on teaching her not to put stuff in her mouth, and give her some chewy candies in the meantime to keep her mouth busy.

A healthy stomach has an acidity level (pH) between 1-2,
that is around one million times more acid than pure water.

The acidic environment is necessary for proper digestion. In
addition, the low pH kills many pathogens that are ingested, thus
protecting the body from some potential disease conditions.

So bacteria 'sneek in' with
the food. Then the question is, how many bacteria do
you swallow, and how many of those are killed in the
stomach. An egg with Salmonella in it could easily
harbor a million times a million organisms. By cooking
(but not through) you may have reduced that to 100,000
organisms. The stomach may kill 99%, still leaving
1000 organisms. That is sufficient for an enteritis.
It all depends on the infectious dose of a particular
organism. Which organisms are succesful to survive the
stomach? exactly those that cause gastrointestinal
diseases. Salmonella, E.coli, Shigella, Campylobacter,
Listeria, Bacillus species, Vibrio cholerae, to name a
few.

Are you completely insane? germs dont accumulate in the stomach. thats what stomach acid and the immune system is for.

Why would your kid be on a roadside anyway? Im sorry but this question made me laugh out loud. Your totally tripping. Id be more worried about the OBJECTs in your kids stomach. Unless this is a 2 year old GOAT....it should be more supervised than eating trash off the side of roadways.... WATCH YOUR KID FOR GODSAKE! Get off the crack pipe.

For godsake........I hope this question was a joke!

Your little girl will be fine. All kids eat dirt. She does need to learn not to put things in her mouth. I wouldn't worry about germs. She should gave a pretty healthy immune system by now. Just keep reminding her that only food goes into her mouth and have healthy snacks available.
Good luck.

Just make sure your house is really sanitised along with her toys and she is washing her hands frequently I like to use Clorox disinfecting wipes on my children's toys. But really try and tell her that stuff outside is not good for her to put in her mouth.
