Blood test usually takes a few hours. But you can also take a urine test. When I suspected that I was pregnant I bought a home pregnancy test which came out positive. And I went to the hospital a week later and they confirmed it with a urine test. So not all hospitals does blood test.
You can be pregnant and have implantation bleeding in which many women mistake for a period. It is lighter and shorter than ususal.
And the idea of losing the baby due to sex is crazy. Sex doesnt harm the baby. In some instances a doctor may advise against it for different medical reasons but that isnt until the later stages of pregnancy.

Ummmmmm... did you actually take a test? Or are you just assuming things? I've had regular periods with the same symptoms you're describing. If you didn't have a positive test then you most likely weren't pregnant. I'm not trying to make you feel badly but if you think you had a miscarriage and you didn't it will make a pregnancy so much harder to enjoy because you'll be afraid of losing the baby. Get a blood test done, if you were actually pregnant there will still be HCG there. Good luck!

When I had my blood test done I had an answer in a few hours. Sometimes it might take them a day or two if they have to send out the blood work.
If you're having a normal period, chances are good that you're not pregnant and may have just been pms'ing hard this month. Though pregnancy isn't impossible, I know it's not uncommon for a woman to have periods while pregnant. Give it some time and if symptoms persist and/or get worse see a doctor.

it takes about 4 hours. was your period late. if not you were never pregnant. by the way sex doesnt cause miscarriage and moving slowly does nothing either. walk normally and do everything normal you dont have to walk like your dying because you arent. treat your body no different you will be in less pain in the long run and labor wont be as bad. but you arent pregnant so dont worry about it. periods coming means you arent pregnant take a urine test even it will still read

I go to an infertility specialist.. so they have a lab. They get my results back in about 2 hours... at least that is when the nurse called me Wednesday... (I'm pregnant and I'm having it monitored) but that doesn't mean that they will get right to it. So if you go to some place else like a convient care or something it could be possible it could take a day or two depending on if ithey have to send it off.

My tests were usually back within 2 hour sometimes sooner!
You cant kill the baby having sex.
If your period was a m/c there would be lots of blood with clots and cramps.

Take a home pregnancy test. Results in under three minutes and they are 99.9% accurate. You will not lose the baby from having sex.

it shouldn't take very long to get one back and you shouldn't have your period while your pregnant. I've hear of people starting it, but then it was "cut short". But you won't go through your entire period. If you have then your probably not and maybe wasn't even pregnant.
