you know what? Ive never heard of that...and have have 3 kids. After my labor they offered me juice,(right when they took my babies to the nursery) and food if I wanted it. Ive never heard of "bulging belly" what's that? I dont know if cola would exactly be a good idea especially if you are breastfeeding, but I dont think that anything cold to drink could hurt you. you might be from a different culture, it looks like. In my opinion I would say cold drinks would be just fine

It's alright to have cold drinks after giving birth and/or while still in confinement. Maybe no colas if you're still breast-feeding, but other cold drinks is definately alright. Don't take in too much of those old wives' tale abt not being able to bath and keeping yourself all wrapped up during confimement either. Does not make any sense. I've had 2 kids, I live in Singapore (swealtering heat 365 days a year) and I took a bath and washed my hair everyday, and I'm still alive in 1 piece with no aches and pains. So cold drinks are OK!!!!!

Your doe will have to be in a descent size rabbit cage. For most breeds 11 kilos and underneath a 32"x24"x18" tall cage will do. Make sure the rabbit is protected from any wind draft. Defense on 3 of the 4 partitions of a cage will defend against a wind draft. Rabbits can take the bloodless but not a draft. Put in a nest box 2 days earlier than she is because of have infants (the 28th day). The nest field must be about 1-2 inches wider that the doe is broad and 1-2 inches longer than the doe is long when she is laying down. Use pegboard for the ground of the nestbox and put some straw underneath the nestbox and in the nest field. The nestbox will have to have an opening on the front with a few 5" tall board alongside the entrance for her to leap over. Put about 2"-3" deep worth of straw in the nestbox. You need the straw in the nestbox to be a pair inches beneath the entrance board so the babies don't jump out or to restrict the mummy from by accident kicking them out. Nail a top to quilt the again 2/3's of the nest box. The nest box must be tall enough so the doe can get effectively inside and outside about 10-12" by and large will work. Do not put the nest box in over 2 days before she is as a result of have the babies otherwise the mother may start pooping and peeing in the nestbox. Throw an inch or so of straw below the nestbox too. This may occasionally support hold the warmth within the nestbox just a little higher. If the mother fails to tug fur after she has had them. Pull fur out of her to quilt the infants with. If she scatters them across the cage, put the are living toddlers in the nestbox collectively and cover them with fur. As long as they're nonetheless relocating, regardless of how cold or how little they transfer, they still have a danger of living so long as they're put together and protected with fur.

Well, if you just had that big of a workout, you need water or juice, and I'd steer away from the highsugar highcalorie colas for a while. They really aren't healthy and don't offer any nutritional value.
That being said, why is your family all over you for your birth? Where's your boyfriend/husband who should be your partner? WHere are the medical professionals who should be helping you heal and preparing you healthy foods. and what do you mean by 'confinement'? That's just odd all over.

Why are you confined? You gave birth... not had your leg amputated. Unless you had huge complications you're supposed to be up and moving a little so your body can function and heal.
And you should be drinking fluids, you need them. Although soda isnt a good option.
If you spent your two or three days in the hospital, and they didnt put you on bed rest, then you have no business laying in bed not being allowed to drink fluids, or function.
My mom was out shopping in her pre pregnancy jeans two days after giving birth to me. My friend just had her second and stopped at taget to buy some stuff on her way home from the hospital.
I think your mom needs to butt out. unless you have medical issues.

Someone needs an anatomy lesson. Your uterus has nothing to do with your stomach or your thirst.
I find it interesting that you are old enough to give birth but not to decide what and when to drink?
Your whole family sounds as if they could use some counseling.

You need a lot of fluids right after birth, it makes no sense to take away your fluids. Get them back right away.

if you're old enough to have your own babies, you're old enough to decide for yourself what you may and may not drink. tell your family to piss off and go get yourself a coke!
