Why do people try to say that a fetus is not a baby until it is born?
Then why do people ask you questons like
-when is you BABY due?
-how is BABY doing?
and other things like that.

I know a person starts off as a goup of cells that split and split, but when it developes a heart beat and thoughts and it moves and kicks around, which is early in pregnancy, then isn't more "human" than some comatose people?

People who have abortions, they wouldn't want to be ripped limb for limb, would they?

Don't get me wrong, I can understand abortions when a mother's life is in danger, and in some rape cases. I just don't believe that people should just have the option to whore around and have abortions every month.

I think if abortions are going to be allowed you should only be allowed one in your life. Then you would have to petition for an abortion. If the baby caused harm to you or if was raped then you would get one.

Your body may be you's but isn't a babies body it's own?

Don't tell me a woman has the right to decide what she can do to her body because when you are killing another person then it is not your body.

Why is there such a thing as Fetal Homicide if abortions are legal?

Ok first off,

A baby is a baby before it is born.

Yes a baby has thoughts and and can move so i guess it would be more alive than some people.

No I don't know anyone who wants to be ripped limb for limb.

No people should not even be allowed 1 abortion, unless the mother is in danger, in cases of rape their is the morning after pill.

Yes a babies body is their own, it is it's own person.

The problem with the way you're expressing things is that you leave out the fact that nature (and I DO eliminate any aspect of God here because I don't think nature is necessarily god all the time) but that nature WANTS the body to become pregnant. The woman doesn't have to whore around to get pregnant by accident. It'd be nice if everything worked and there wasn't even a chance while using protective measure but that shouldn't make the woman at fault if she suddenly finds that what should have worked didn't. But then I know some would say "get yourself fixed"...only - personally, I've tried that method for many years. How do you get it done if all the doctors tell you no because of your age?

Being pregnant is harder than most think. It's not easy to say early on (when it's still early enough to have an abortion) that the pregnancy won't cause serious complications for the birthmother later on.

While yes, to an extent a baby's body IS it's own - it's also relying strictly off of that of the mother - like a host.

There's also the fact that I've never even heard of a woman have an abortion every month. It varies even from pregnancy to pregnancy if they'll have any symptoms. I freaked on my first pregnancy and did abort. I knew I couldn't be a mother. But I was lucky that I had symptoms early to let me know. But I also just had a baby and that too was an unwanted pregnancy. I didn't and have never "whored around". But I didn't get symptoms until 6 months along - too late to do anything but carry full-term. That didn't make it worth it or anything. Oh, and no - not all women have regular cycles. That makes it even harder to find out. Without symptoms and an extremely irregular cycle - women can be pregnant damn near delivery and have no clue.

Whether a baby is human or not. It's a touchy subject. I consider it a baby when it could survive outside the womb. Until then *shrug* I don't know what to call it. I think most call it a baby the entire time during pregnancy because they assume a woman will want it and keep it and that that's what it'll become. Technically calling someone a "person" references adulthood - even if it hasn't been reached yet. Terminology is tricky and is given too much precidence when it comes to abortion topics.

Just remember - the woman doesn't REALLY get to decide if she wants to be pregnant or not, even if there are protective measures in place. The female body naturally wants to be pregnant and reproduce and so does everything it can to do so. If you don't believe me, consider why birth controls work for the most part - they trick the body into believing it's pregnant so it won't produce the way it does normally. Abortions and accidental pregnancies are NEVER a matter of being "good" or "whoring around". Besides - there are health and legal measures that make it to where a woman sleeping around that much and constantly finding herself with an unwanted pregnancy won't necessarily be allowed to keep getting abortions. There are strains on the body from an abortion that, like anything else, if done frequently, will cause serious harm.

I agree that a woman should have an abortion if a pregnancy is dangerous to the woman's life, rape, ect. There are birth control options out there. Several different types of birth control. Income is no excuse. There are clinics out there such as planned parenthood that often times offer free birth control if you fall within the income guidelines. I know a person that was raped and decided to keep the baby. Someday when her child is old enough, she will many things to explain, but it was still HER choice.

I don't think abortion is an option when you are healthy and just don't want the baby. If you weren't ready for a baby or didn't want a baby then they should have used some form of birth control. I have an 8 year old son and an 8 month old daughter. Both of my children are the pride of my life. I would not trade them for anything in this world. I have NEVER had an abortion. I was barely 19 when I had my son, I grew up real quick and became the parent my son needed me to be. I was told I had the choice of an abortion, I said no I don't. I have a resposibility to my unborn baby.

Regardless of my opinion, abortion is still an option. I think people just need to learn a bit of responsibility instead of using abortion to bail them out of trouble. Use adoption instead if you don't want to keep your baby. There are many people out there that can't have kids and would love to give a baby a great home. A woman has the right to make a choice, whatever that choice is, they have to live with it for the rest of their lives. Good or bad.

Until it is born, it is a fetus. In early pregnancy, it's an embryo. Those are the medical terms.

There is a big difference than one mistake a 15 year old made and someone sleeping around and using abortion as birth control. To compare the 2 is ignorant.

Hon, you are ranting.
Legally a fetus is not a baby.
People are so excited about a new baby, they often are improper in their questions.

You seem to have a lot of extra time on your hands to want to make medical decisions for people you don't know.
You mind your own body and I will mind mine.

If you really wanted real answers and not a debate you wouldnt have started one. Its easier to judge people rather then know the sitution that they are in. Leave it up to God, he will judge its not yours, mine or anyone elses place to judge.
