there's this guy I like and I know how to talk to him. it doesn't make me nervous or anything, but there is just ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to talk about! He's a football player, I'm a volleyball & softball player, make good grades, like to paint & draw, what do you all think I should say to him? He's really sweet, I think he might like me. He tries to get my attention in the halls sometimes and in the classes I have w/ him. What should I do? thanks in advance!

my friend's daughter is 7 weeks old and won't sleep at all - not naps during the day or at night. Then she gets over tired and then it is even harder for her to sleep. She is sleep deprived and miserable and my friend has tried rocking her, driving her around the block, everything but the baby refuses to fall asleep. What can she do?

My daughter is 3 years old. She is having severe constipation which she does often. She hasn't gone in 3 days now. When she does go it is rather large and often hurts her to the point where she is crying and shaking going. No just recently she seems to be passing alot of gas. The thing I am really worried about is now she is throwing up. I am wondering if this could be caused by the constipation or is it more likely just caused by a virus or something? I called her pediatrician but he can't get her in until Friday. Any ideas if this could be causing that or any ideas on what I can give her to maybe make her go?

I know people my age (early-mid 20s) who were taught as children to not talk to strangers and for most of them it has carried into adulthood and their social skills have suffered. The rule at our house is that if my daughter acts up, we start counting to 3. If she doesn't cut her awful behavior out by the time we say 3 she gets an equal punishment for the negative behavior. My mother in law says it disturbs her that any more we can usually just say "One..." and our daughter will stop immediately. That's the purpose of counting. She says it worries her because our daughter is afraid of us, or else she would keep doing it until after two. Who's crazy? Me? or Her?

I am 3 months along and I have a belly which now does not fit into my pants and because of it my shirts are too short. I have only gained 1.5 lbs so far during the pregnancy so it is not from overeating. Is it too early to start wearing maternity clothes?

Last year she had her party at the Little Gym. It was fun, but I'd like to have it somewhere else this year. I was hoping to have it at McDonald's, but everyone that I called said they didn't do parties. She wants to invite lots of friends from school. Our house is just too small for a party. Her birthday is in January so it'll be too cold to have the party outside. Any ideas?

I want a creative way to tell him that we're having a baby. Christmas is coming up so I it'll be the perfect gift. I want it to be a private moment, so nothing that involves onlookers. Any suggestions? Make it really cute, he has wanted a child for the longest.

Okay I've read something now i'm worried about it,about 2 years ago i went and had a bunch of stuff done with my teeth(never had insurance)so wanted to do it all together cheaper for me,anyway dentist said he needed to remove old silver fillings about 4 (from when i was a kid)and refill them again and then he said i need 3 new ones like a total of 7 silver fillings.Well i did it thinking that its the best thing for my teeth. Now ive read how bad they are for you and about miscarriges and all kinda stuff.Well ive been TTC for 1 and a half years now and have had a molar pregnancy and two early miscarriges,so now im worried that this could have something to do with it ..... or is it just in my head now that i read about it..Also id like to hear from moms who have alot of silver fillings and NO proplems TTC.Also having them removed is not a option for me now..im in my thirties and cant wait anymore and also i heard having them removed is worse. Thanks

I just did a FirstResponse preg. test and got a negative result.
However, my breasts are unbelievably tender, i'm very emotional and cry at anything, i'm urinating almost twice as often as normal, and i am bloated (which i am not normally bloated during pms).
I typically start my period on which would have been Sunday, but sometimes I'm as late as what would be tomorrow. So i figured taking a test today would be ok. Should I get a blood test done and how soon are they accurate?

Surely good parents can bring up decent children, who have manners, respect for others, know right from wrong, etc etc without being brainwashed the ways of their parents... if when that child is an adult and is able to make up there own mind after what they have seen in life then fair enough....

My 3 year old daughter dumped a huge tin of crayons on the floor because she was mad at me. I made her pick them all up (there were like 500 crayons in there) and now my mother-in-law is saying that was too much work for a 3 year old and that I'm too hard on my daughter. What do you think?
