I had a positive test a week before my period was due. That's not typical. But my blood tests and ultrasound confirmed my dates.

Yes, you can have a positive reading before your period is due. If you are pregnant, your body starts producing a special hormone and that's what turns the test positive. I had all the symptoms and took the test 1 week before my period and it was positive. Having said that, it is still always best to see your doctor and have them do the test. Remember, the sooner you know you're pregnant, the longer the pregnancy is! It's not 9 months, it's 40 weeks, and that's 10 months! Stay healthy and good luck!

Yes it is possible, it depends on how fast the hormone accumulates in your body, and also the pregnancy test, some of them are more sensitive than others, and can accurately tell you up to 5 days before your missed period if you are pregnant or not. Others can only be used 5 days after your missed period, depends on the brand. But to answer your question.. YES, it is possible.

Its best to wait until your period is late, but yes you can get a positive test before your period is due. It all depends on the amount of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in your system and the sensativity of the test your using.
I got a positive test 5 days before my period was due with a digital test.

I took 3 different HPT the day before my period was due this time around ( i couldn't wait anylonger lol) I took a dollar store one- POSITIVE!! and then 2 Digital test BOTH POSITIVE!! So yes it is possible to get a possitive the day before! GOOD LUCK

Mine was positive 2 days before my "missed period" and I had a positve one after my missed period! Good luck!

on ur first missed period day which is the best and take it in the morning when u wake up
