Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 December 2006

Im 12.3 weeks pregnant and im not big enough for maternity clothes but i cannot fit into my regular clothes anymore, i just look fat not pregnant lol. I hate this stage!! When will i start to "show" so people know im pregnant and not fat lol this is my third baby.....i hate this stage!!! How do you get through this part???? i dont remember this with my other two!!!!!!!

I had my first OB appointment yesterday. I had a pelvic exam done and the doctor scheduled me an ultrasound for next week because he said my uterus is larger than it should be for only being 7 weeks. What could this mean? My husbands father is a twin, so it would be our generation to have them.

my son refuses to sleep in his bed at night iv tried all the tricks in the book all the routines nothing is working he hasnt ever slept all night he always wakes up in the night most of the time crying he refuses to go back into his bed and i always give in to him as i have a 10 month old daughter who sleeps in his room and he wakes her up, its ruined mine and my partners relationship as he is up til late and then ends up in our bed please if any1 has had a similar thing let me know how wot to do

I miscarried over the weekend... and still in shock... the whole time something felt off... but I am desperate to know how many people have had miscarriages and then go on to have successful pregnancys... I am scarred bc this was our first pregnancy that there is something wrong with me... I go to the doctor today... but just wanted to hear personal experiences... thank you

he eats his dinner by 8:30 pm then sleeps after one to one and half hours late...then before bed i gave him 4 ounces formula milk..

my eight month old baby is exclusively breastfed (no formula ever. when she was about six mos., i began incorporating solids into her diet (which she absolutely LOVES). however, it seems like she wants to breastfeed less and less. is this normal? i guess maybe it's the natural transition from milk to solids but i can't help being concerned. i plan on breastfeeding until she's well over a year old (i'm hoping she'll simply wean herself when she's ready)--but i don't want her to wean herself right now (8 mos. seems too young)! at any rate, she's breastfeeding fewer times per day and seems to take less milk as she frequently will feed from one side only and refuse the other side. i always feed her milk before her solids (per dr's recommendation). when i worked yesterday, her grandmother said she took only 2 oz. of milk the entire day and refused to take any more (although she ate a lot of solids). Is this normal and what can i do to prolong breastfeeding?

I can only test for certain this Wednesday - Friday...but how soon does one start feeling symptoms like nausea etc... does everyone feel nauseous with pregnancy? no period as yet, but i just feel my normal self i guess...tummy has been rumbling a lot at odd times, even when full, since i started conception attempts...?

She said that I was 3cm and very thinned out. The week before I was 60% thinned. After the exam I had really bad cramps all night and then I have had diarea( gross I know) and I feel very nauseated but no more cramps. I am so ready to have this baby. Anyone else had their membranes stripped and went into labor with in a couple days?

My son has had a Teddy bear since he was 4 months and would sleep with it and take it everywhere, the problem is it is now LOST and he crys for it all the time. I found one on E-bay just like it, and it should be here next week.so my question is how should I give it to him, I'm not sure if he will know that it is not his. we have twin five year old boys. my wife is out of town caring for her mother for a few days. yesterday i was making their breakfest and poured them a bowl of cereal. i went to go shave and get ready for work and get them off to school. when i came back into the kitchen they were both crying. i said, "what on earth is wrong with you two?" they said that i poured the milk wrong!!...WHAT??...so i called my wife and sure enough you have to pour damons milk clockwise and dillons milk counter clockwise...i said, "you are completely out of your mind"...OMG...has my wife lost her mind???

I'm 18 weeks and had my ultrasound. I was wondering if the baby should be measuring at 18 weeks also? I thought if I was 18 the baby would be 16. My due date is still predicted for may 11. I was just trying to calculate the conception date. Any suggestions?
